Edsand fellow Reds, any thoughts on Diogo Jota? How do you rate him as a player, and what do you think about the rumor that he might be of interest to Liverpool. I liked his tenacity everytime I saw him play (which isn't a lot), but I'd like to hear your perspectives.

I'd be chuffed with Jota signing. He is Mr Right Place at the Right Time kind of player. Very fleet footed and high energy player. Perfect for us.

With you, IB. Always like Jota as he is lethal in front of goal with blinding pace and movement. It looks like the deal is going to go thru cos Paul Joyce is saying it could be a 35m deal and with the way Nuno got all prickly when he was asked about why Jota did not start in the EFL game, it could happen.

From the bits i've seen, he looks pretty good. Trying to find and then persuade any forward to come an try to dislodge one of our forward 3 will need some persuading i think.

Wiltshire Red, Jota is already way ahead of Sarr in his development and is a Portuguese international. If he is ready to do the hardwork (not a prob cos you won't play for Nuno is you are lazy) then, look out cos the speed, movement and eye for goal are qualities he already possesses.
