Jota in banging player but a likely mane replacement for next season? If so at least it gives him a full year to fit in get up and running and have no pressure to fit in and replace Mané right away brilliant business by fsg!

If Mane goes next season, we are signing a replacement mate. Jota is an addition, not a replacement for anyone. We will sell one of Mane and Salah for 100 mil next summer and sign a younger quality replacement for 50 mil.
And I think all this will happen with Klopp's blessings.

IB, I think so too. Jota is nowhere near being able to replace Mane should he leave next season. If he or Salah does leave then we will be back in for a top wide forward while Jota still learns the Klopp way and keeps progressing to eventually be a starter. He signed a 5 year deal for a reason.

Have plenty left in the tank. Lewandowski is 32 and still going and look at Aubameyang. He’s probably in the form of his life at 31 and in the premier league. I know they will technically be a year older but it doesn’t actually work like that. Next May both will be 29 so when the 21/ 22 season starts in Aug they will only be 3 months older than they were when they finished the season. I know people talk about cashing in whilst they are still worth something but I would honestly prefer to keep both until they are well into their 30’s as I don’t see the point in cashing in and then spending that money on replacements anyway. Salah already looks better, fitter and hungered this season at 28 than he did last season at 27 so age is just a number and genetically he is a freak so I honestly think he can go and go as there’s no indication of him slowing down. The main issue for me though is whether they want to stay. I think Thiago signing could be a massive help with that mind, as it’s showing them that we aren’t the kind of club to sit back now we’ve achieved our title aims but we are ambitious and want to continue to go from strength to strength.

JK23, we will be selling Mane or Salah to raise funds for younger players to be part of the next phase of Klopp's project at LFC.
This has nothing to do with how good they will be after they turn 29 years old. Its how our business model works and we have the perfect people in place to make this kind of transition easier and smoother in order for the club to keep on challenging for major honours on a regular basis.

JK to IB's point, Werner was supposed to come in and challenge the front 3 and then to replace one of them were of them should one of them be sold, IMO. Add Minamino to that mix, as well.
It is clear that Klopp is already thinking of the post Salah, Mane and Bobbie trident in attack and Jota may be part of the process even tho, I still believe should either of them go, we will sign a top class replacement, tho. I do agree that it will be a sad day should either of them leave esp. on the back of another PL and/ or CL triumph.
