Seeing Thiago's style of play which is not reliant on sprinting and constant running but instead consists more of short speed bursts, quick turns, a lot of technique and great vision to control and spread play, I am guessing he has a good 4-5 years at lop level football. If he was to complete his 4 year contract with us he will be 33 then and I suspect he might have another year in him even after that to continue playing at a high level. If we can get 5 top years out of Thiago, that will be a great return on LFCs investment.
What do Ed's and fellow Reds think? How many years of top level football can we expect from Thiago considering his style of play?

OP, if Thiago stays fit which we all hope will happen, he can play easily 4 seasons here cos his game is not based on speed. He is more cerebral with great intelligence, anticipation and a football IQ that is off the charts. Players like that can play for years.

It’s hard to judge these things. If he stays in good shape and injury free then it’s entirely plausible he could go on as long as Fernandinho, Milner or David Silva.
