I was worried about the game today when the lineup was released. Mainly because Fabinho was in CB and it would leave a hole in DM.
However, Chelsea didn't want to attack today for some reason. Gave us too much respect.
And Fab had a brilliant game. He controlled Werner and his pace all game. He only missed one tackle against him and that was near thr halfway line where there was cover.

The rest was almost too easy today.

Werner is v quick and can kick a ball but I think he lacks football intelligence. It would've completely changed our front three. Look at that first goal. That is out of the very top draw.

Yeah I see what you mean. Sometimes if you have that much pace you don't need to work on other parts of your game, including tactics/ in game intelligence.
Although the lad can finish and he'll get better when he gets used to this league.

100% agree ed666. I think jota is a much better fit.

Ed666, I think Werner would have been very good for us and even tho he looked like a headless chicken today, I would put that down to him not knowing his team mates fully yet.
