I've been a keita supporter since he joined. And when others have lost faith I've been saying "wait he'll turn the corner soon" but after today's dismal performance I've given up.

What is he? He doesn't rush to the edge of the box and mop up chances (like gini) he doesn't spray balls about (like Hendo and thiago) he doesn't fly in with bone crunching tackles (like fab) he doesn't shoot from distance. The one thing he's good at, running with the ball, he doesn't do, and when he does he always tries to go too far.

I'll tell you why he hasn't turned the corner, because there is no corner to turn. In a league where there is space, he can be effective. But in the premier league he's is never going to get that space. (possibly why his best performances have been in the cl) I would rather keep gini. All day.

There is still a Ray of hope. He is young and technically gifted. If he can adapt his game and evolve he could be decent. But I do not see him putting in the effort. Not in a million years.

When we were that heavy metal team, playing on the break he could've been good. But we were a different team by the time we signed him. I think psychologically I haven't wanted to admit defeat as we need creativity in the mf. And now we have it in thiago I'm ready to give up on naby.

Talk of aoc and wolves is worrying as ox is a class act. Different level to keita. If we have to offload a cm, surely it's keita.

Ox hasn’t looked the same player since his bad injury, I’m not convinced he will ever get back to that level.

Agree with all of that robbie!

I've always defended him but just hasn't shown up in these first two games at all. If any offers at all came in we should get rid and move on.

Lol said it a while ago you lot slated me.

I think ox will get back there. He's still got plenty of playing time left. He's been about so long it seems he must be 31, but he's what? 27.

I have never seen him do remotely anything to live up to that hype. Apart from chip in with the odd goal he’s pretty anonymous.

AOC never gives less than 100%. Keita just plays so far within himself it’s unreal, personally I’d sacrifice Keita to bring in a top class centre defender as I’m not convinced he’ll ever make it.

Do you not all think he’s being told to curb his running with the ball as when he loses it we are under pressure? He did it once today and got tackled and we got broken on. I think he’s being told to be more cautious on the ball whilst at the same time working on his game off the ball.
I thought today, off the ball in particular he did well. He was more in sync with the other players in the press.
I think you’re being too harsh on a player who is being told to play the way he’s playing.

I've been the opposite of harsh toward naby BP. I've bedn soft on him when he's put in poor performances. We paid nearly 60mil for him and he's done very little but score a couple of goals.

Put aside his weaknesses tactically etc, the fact he can't play for 90 minutes is worrying.

Likewise, I agree Robbiesline - will continue to support whilst he's our player but the clock is ticking on Nabis Reds career. I think EdO2 called that some time ago even before he officially played. Very disappointing, he has huge potential. Wasted.

I remember many of the posters on this site saying exactly the same things about Gini Wijnaldum. I prefer to leave the judgement on how much a player contributes to a Liverpool performance to Klopp and his coaching team.
