I know it's only Lincoln so I'm not going to start shouting from the roof tops, but this game shoes how far we have come. Not so long ago we would struggle in this kind of game as we had no strength in depth. Now we do. Kloop has transformed this team and club to what we have all been waiting for. Kloop, I tip my hat to you sir.

Agree mate. Could say good performance for all the players but personally I thought Jones, Shaq and Minamino were outstanding.

Same with Rhys Williams, looks good on the back of his loan. Still very young.

{Ed001's Note - really? You thought he looked good? I didn't see that at all.}

Personally I believe its the mix of players i. e some experience mixed in the lineup, instead of all the kids playing together they had experienced players alongside them.

Poor in defence in second half. Thought Grujic did well.

Agree with ed001 thought both Neco and Rhys Williams had a bit to sharpen up on there defending. Seemed an obvious attempt by lincoln to try and attack down LFC right. Only young lads tho sure they will get there if they put the effort in.

Minamino is looking very sharp, I'm really excited about this lad. Jones as well, I think we have one for the future in him.

Jones is really knocking on the door. Genuinely feel more confident with him in the team than Naby. Works hard, presses, tracks back, good feet, knack of scoring goals.

Keep it up young man 👏.

You're right unbearable, I'll eat my scarf if jjones doesn't have an illustrious career at the top level. He's pure class. One of those players who seems to be a step ahead. Always seems to have time. Strong on the ball. Great finisher. I knew we had a good player in Jones but I'm pretty excited now, he really does look like the real deal.

I thought the left back showed promise. Not quite up to speed but you could see he had quality. Elliot is class too.

I agree with you ed01, I thought the young centre back struggled. He did seem quite confident though.

Jones is the one. Even the way he conducts himself off the pitch in interviews is sublime.

Rhys Williams poor game. His diving in like a headless chicken led to their first goal. Curtis Jones tho gets better and better.

Jones has that right mix of hunger and humble for me, in and off the pitch. He shoots when there’s a chance but it’s not like Coutinho and shoot on sight. He moves the ball so quickly and can pick a pass. He just wants to play, and I think he would be suited to playing in a three in the league. If Keita keeps not showing up and gini doesn’t step it up, I don’t see why he can’t make the third cm spot his.

Ah bit harsh on Rhys lads. He was visibly nervous before and during the game. His debut came rather out of the blue, nobody really saw it coming, probably including him. Only started training with the first team last week I think. Yeah he lost his head a bit for their goal but I've seen Fabinho and Matip do similar once or twice. Good experience for the lad and he'll have learned a lot. "It's a moment me and all my family dreamed of since I was a kid signing at nine. "
I reckon Klopp put him in to test him as he knows more about Sepp than Rhys up to now. Probably assessing if we perhaps do or don't need to buy a CB. Of course aside from those 2 we also have Billy and Remi Savage could be a promising one for the future.

I thought Rhys Williams did okay in the first half. It was in the second half that his play went South. In one sequence he missed two consecutive sliding tackles/ blocks. I instantly told myself, "alright, let's see what Koumetio is like".
