If I'm honest I'm more worried Ali won't be present than thiago. what about you ed01?

{Ed001's Note - Thiago is not really ready to start yet, so of course it is more worrying to be without Alisson.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed1 is Thiago a case of not match fit and will start from the bench instead of being injured?

{Ed001's Note - he has a slight problem which will be assessed ahead of the game.}

Cheers Ed1. I would go for Fabinho, Gini and Jones. Who Would be your midfield 3? Also wanted to add that this fixture used to be a free hit and it was a case of 4 or 5. Goes to show how more compact and difficult to beat they have become under Arteta, although that’s not to say we can’t dish out a hiding.

{Ed001's Note - as it looks like Henderson and Milner are out and Gomez should be fit, Fabinho has to play. Wijnaldum always seems to make more of an effort in the bigger games, so I would put him in. Actually yes, I would go with your choice looking at it. Arsenal are a team you can outplay, rather than needing to fight them for the win, so Jones would be a good choice.}

I think we'll be fine if Adrian has to be in goal tonight, no big deal. Good news is with Alisson it's nothing major.

If Arsenal get a free kick close to the box do we trust Adrian's wall to do its job?

Underrated comment right here.

ed001 I would go with that 3 as well but I think it will be Naby Fabs and Gini. Does anybody know what Alissons injury is.

{Ed001's Note - I hope if it is then Keita finally starts earning his money.}

Jones is making it almost impossible to leave him out over Keita, he’s grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck with every appearance he makes. I personally believe he should start against Arsenal and would do a fine job of it as well.

unfortunately ed I think that boat has well gone. But with what I have seen from Arsenal under Arteta they will just sit back so he might be ok tonight and all the Naby lovers can think his Maradona again.

I am with you, ED01. I would go with Gini, Fab and Jones. The Arsenal midfield is not match for ours if both teams are on their game. And if Bobbie plays the way we know he can then, Nights out, Gunners.

I'm just still a little worried that Jones can get kicked out of a game. I'm much less worried about than I was. I don't think he's a coward at all.
Id be tempted to start him.
