OP, Thiago has always spoken English and this, for a very long time. I have been watching the Bundesliga highlight show for years now and Thiago always did his interviews in fluent English.

I honestly don't care if naby speaks English or Hungarian, I just want him to perform. He's our most expensive forward thinking player, so he should be our best.
