Heard on a podcast there that the ball boy who threw the ball back quickly to TAA for the 'corner taken quickly' goal was Billy Koumetio.

That is 100% not true.

This just shows that you shouldn't believe everything you hear in podcasts (or read in newspapers) .

Was James Pearce who said it. He done a write up about it aswel. He was 100% a ball boy that night so don't know how yous know its 100% not true?

Because it was Oakley Cannonier as confirmed by the dozens of articles and the LFC website at the time. If you want the name of the LFC employee (not a coach by the way) who oversaw the practice sessions just let me know. All of this is available in under 30 seconds on the interweb.

Thunderbird 2 is 100% correct. It is NOT true that Billy Kumetio who threw the ball to Trent for the 4th goal. After the game, there was the pic on line of the kid and his name is Oakley Cannonier. You can find his name online. I just did a simple search and found him.

{Ed025's Note - pity his name wasn,t oakley doakaly really.. :)

Because I have watched the video of the corner and the ball boy is clearly a white kid. His name is Oakley Cannonier.

Sorry, must have heard it wrong. They were talking about Billy Koumetio being a ball boy and the ball to Trent and I must have put 2 and 2 together and got 5 lol.

Think Koumetio was a ball boy that night, pretty sure he was part of the celebrations with the players. Wasnt him that set up Trent though.

You're not an accountant then?

30 Sep 2020 20:29:11
Did Billy the kid throw it to Oakley?

30 Sep 2020 23:56:52
The Blood Red podcast on the academy prob 3 weeks ago mentioned that the ball boy was moving up through the ranks, etc.
