I think we should make a keeper a priority for tomorrow but if we can find the funds for a defender then we should get one.

Adam, what keeper did you have in mind? We aren't going to be buying a top keeper just to be back up for Ali whilst he's injured, no top keeper would do that. We take it on the chin and focus on the derby, it might even be the kick up the arse we needed.

Jesus christ lads, Gomez was the best player on the pitch monday night. today was terrible nd most might disagree with me but from playing football I've had training sessions where lesser players would be more up 4 it nd no matter how much u tried 2 get going you couldn't. Again in not saying it's right but I think some players are struggling to get going fully with no crowds. that's 2 say, no excuses but there's no way we capitulate like that in a full stadium. there's a reason we dropped as many points in 9 games last season as we had in d previous 29 (even though I know the league was more or less won. )

A keeper? lol. What keeper would you like to see us sign tomorrow then?

The last thing we want to be doing is panic buying. We are just fine with what we have. Can;t be perfect every game. Problem is we've become too damn spoilt because we win the vast majority of games so when it doesn't go our way and we get smashed suddely we need to sign new players and we're terrible! it's silly.

I think whatever we do we need too make changes wether too system or players it's looking stale and also these players bar keita, minamino, jota have ran themselves into the ground over the past 3 seasons for us especially the midfield and front 3 . Our players are dropping like flys when it starts happening too the keeper on a regular basis its very worrying .

Let’s call a spade a spade Adrian is bad a lot of players off the boil too!
Adrian in goal against Everton doesn’t make me comfortable and far from it!
I like the way u try get the mood back up but mate we just got destroyed by villa and credit to them but don’t pretend that’s not damaging to the team and most of all the players who had a shocker!

So needing a GK is al some people got from that utter and complete ship show of a game, really? By that logic, ALL the players who played that game should be replaced. We got absolutely owned from top to bottom with errors all over the pitch so to dig out this or that player is a cowardly cop-out, IMO.

So if we had changed both Adrian or Gomez, that would have stopped all the gaps opening up in midfield and defence whenever we lost the ball, yeah? It Barkley could have had a hat trick while Watkins should have scored about 5. Was selling selling Gomez or Adrian going to fix any of that? We got battered. Take the L and move on. No excuses are needed here. Digging individuals out is weak and a typical act of scape-goating.

They won't kneejerk to one performance, we were poor all over the pitch. I was watching it literally not being able to wrap my head around how all 11 players looked so poor. There seemed to be zero press and that of course makes the high line vulnerable. Fair play to villa we wouldn't have been able to complain if they scored 10 tonight.
