Interesting to see what people’s thoughts are on Thiago now. Nothing against our other midfielders as they are all brilliant with their strengths. But Thiago is technically one of the best players in the league. He’s up there to rival KDB. Hopefully his injury isn’t to serious.

He was very good today JK but Hendo was at that level all of last season. Agreed they play differently but I wouldn't put Thiago above Hendo just yet.

Different players I’d say Mark. Hendo is the driving force in the team and he is an athlete who can ping a pass. Thiago is technically better in my opinion And makes hard forward passes look easy. Thiago is an athlete as well despite not having Hendos long running stride he still puts a shift in. All opinion of course.

Mark and I actually disagree with hendo being at that level all of last season. I’d go as far as saying Hendo has been at that level for the last 2 seasons. Thiago has been at his world class level for most of his career. Sadly it’s been at other clubs though.

I have to disagee Hendo didn't have a good season 18-19 he only got to top level in the last 10 games or so. Agreed on Thiago for other clubs but he has a long way to go to match Hendo's last year in the prem.
