Bed decisions a few, some bad defending aside but for me our biggest problem yet remains. We create so much and convert so little.
And we haven't addressed that. Even though our trio is super consistent, the midfield and roberto need to add more numbers. We should have won that game. We should scored more against villa, arsenal and leeds.

There is no conspiracy here, by not taking our chances we land ourselves in these discussions. Refrees have no confidence in this league.

No idea what you’re actually trying to articulate. You say our trio (assuming front three) are super consistent, but then point out Bobby’s inconsistency.

Anyone noticed, we sign a new lb and Robbo has gone up a notch, we let a rb go and Trent has gone down a notch. I dunno if it's related or a coincidence.

Robbie that’s a good point mate but I personally think it’s a coincidence. Trent looks almost burnt out to me. He’s played a lot of football and he’s still a youngster. After all we’ve signed Thiago and Keita and Wiji have not stepped up a notch and both are still looking for form. Since minamino came in it’s not like Bobby has stepped up and been scoring for fun either.

Robbo has been playing at this level last season, he dipped after we won the league like most of the team. Trent is way off the pace doesn’t look fit to me.

I thought Bobby F was great yesterday. He looked a lot more mobile and alive yesterday compared to recent games. Ran out of a bit of steam towards the end mind but possibly to be expected.
In fact I thought the team was very good all in all. Adrian maybe could have done better with the first goal right above his head but we were full of energy and ideas. Thiago was great with his passing and energy, seems to be a tad on the slow side but you couldn't ask for much more in your first full game. He looks like he "belongs" in the team. Henderson was driving forward, incredibly unlock with That Goal, still baffled this morning, and off course if VAR had done its job early on then we walk away with 3 points easily. Unlucky for big Virgil but equally as important for me is that we need Our No1 keeper back, sorry Adrian. Plenty to be happy about if not the result.

Its the chances conversion. Its not moaning its just we should straight up be winning games with the number of chances we create. We miss too many good chances. I know people don't see it that way. But we do miss an out an out striker in some situations.

Agreed, Rover. Priority was to show we are not the team that showed up against Aston Villa, and that has been established. Firmino certainly had a better game than the usual in recent times. And I like the setup with both Fabinho and Thiago in at the same time. One slightly ahead of the other. Strengthens our midfield both defensively and offensively. That's not a slight against Wijnaldum, because Wiji is stronger defensively (for us), and is less of a playmaker than Thiago.
