VVD requiring an operation on ligament damage in his knee. Unlikely to feature for the rest of this season.

What an absolute nightmare outcome that is. Worse so the challenge that caused it wasn't even punished. Bitterly disappointed, we've got to hope that Matip and Gomez can hold the fort for the time being and avoid injuries.

It’s there injury record that worries me most. They’re both good enough but they rarely play 10 games in a row especially matip.

Klopp took a big risk in selling Lovren and not replacing him .
gutted over VVD, now let's see what happens, tweek our play at the back, maybe using the Villa type long ball a bit more, holding one of our full backs going forward,
some good news on Allison and Thiago .
was always going to be difficult winning the league the 2nd season, but let's give it a go,
