why do teams have squads if they are not prepared to give the young players a chance when presented with it, look at how many people are calling fo Coady to return after letting him go, we have 2 young players with enormous potential in vdb and Rhys Williams, neco Williams is also knocking on the door along with Curtis.
We still have Robinson Gomez and Trent all full internationals, time for the players To stand up and be counted
I remember Carra getting the opportunity to play at left back due to player injury back in the day and if I'm honest Ii didn't see him having a future at the club back then but he got the opportunity and made the position his own for a few seasons before moving into the middle and the rest is history.

I've seen gomez put in many world class performances. He has the potential.
We want to win the league, we don't have our wc cb. I think klopp should anyway. I thought we needed 4 Senior cbs. But I also think if we have a bit of luck with injury we can do it without any additions.

Faithworks, no he is not. Carra contradicted himself and there is proof of that topic specifically then, saying Connor Coady should be signed, right b4 he said Upamecano should be signed. He has been on Klopp's back since Klopp got here anytime Klopp did not do what he wanted.

Remember when he and his other specialist in abject failure, went after Karius after his mistake in the B'mouth game in the 16/ 17 season? Remember what Klopp said about both of these clown and how he dressed Carra down about it, pointing at his own failures as a player? I suggest you go check it out. If we’d had the money, we’d have probably got one.
So, if that’s the case, what has Carragher said that contradicts Klopp in this instance?
Ed001 has said we could well go after a CB in January and, if Van Dijk’s prognosis is unfavourable, we most likely will?

Juicer, you are missing the point. These pundits are nothing but reactionaries who are never wrong cos their stances change as the facts change. Carra said that he could understand why Klopp did not get a CB in the summer cos well, he could play Fab in there. Now, he said Klopp should have gone big in the summer and signed Upamecano or whatever rubbish he spouted. So which is it? Or was he lying in the summer or is he lying now?

Carra is there at Sky to stir the pot and go after LFC and Klopp cos well, he was an LFC player/ legend so he cannot be biased, yeah? Absolutely rubbish. Why? Since Carra played for us, that makes him the BEST guy to do so as he cannot be attacked for being biased. If someone else did it, he would be accused of bias. See how that works?

Either way, I stand by what I said about Spitty MacSpitFace. And Klopp said it best, punditry is the easiest job in football. You get to judge others who are making decisions in real time, with the help of hindsight. The guy can take a hike.

Stuie_boy, Yes, they were wrong to do so cos of the way they went about going after him and then putting pressure on Klopp to sign their "boy" Joe Hart;, a worst GK than Karius, IMO. That is why Klopp defended him. It was over the top. Both guys telling Karius to shut up and do his job cos he had the audacity to respond to their criticism? Really? That was bullying, IMO.

And btw, it was so bad that Gary Neville hosted a bunch of footie journos and a couple of them pulled him up on what he and Carra said to Karius and called it bullying and targeting just cos the kid had the audacity to speak for himself. Robbie, I like you too BUT this is the problem. So cos Neville has won a lot as a player, he gets to tell people who should and should not speak or challenge him? Maybe that crap happens in England and it is your mentality BUT I am not from England and neither do I care what the guy has won as a player cos he does NOT play anymore. He is a pundit and should be critiqued as one and as a manager, his record should be critiqued as manager as well. That is the mentality outside your shores and believe me as someone who has lived in 4 diff. countries.

Frankly, I could not be arsed about what he or any other ex player won as a player. There are other players who have won more than him and are dreadful pundits/ managers as well all over the world and that should not make them immune to criticism or disagreement. That is my stance and it will not change.
