They're still top of the league.

25 Oct 2020 17:45:47
Robbie all that matters is who is top after 38 games, if that’s everton they would of done it on merit and I’ll be one of the first to congratulate them. However until then it means little.

It means they've got the most points so far. I think they have a chance at finishing top 4, but I doubt it to be honest. As a liverpool fan I'm very happy, looking around at Leeds villa and everton coz they will drop lots of points.

But they have played a game more then the likes of Villa who would go top if they won their game in hand.

I hope this season remains close as it will help us ignore the real world for at least 90 mins a week. The likes of Everton Villa and Leeds should see this as an opportunity to maybe do something no one would of expected 6 weeks ago. I say bring it on, competition is only good for the league and will help us keep on our toes too.

Leeds and villa have enjoyed good starts but it's very unlikely to imagine that they will sustain form for next 32 games based just on what they've done after 5 or 6 games. Everton could easily go on a bad run as we've seen a couple of players either not fit or missing through suspension and they are very weakened. I suspect it will soon resemble a table with the usual suspects around the top 4 places with Leicester being the best side to possibly push the bigger teams. Squad depth will eventually hurt the teams who can't play their best 11 every week in a congested season that's ahead.
