Any of the Ed's no the situation with Gomez injury? Our injury list is becoming impossible will have a back line full of midfielders at this rate.

Confirmed Knee injury and he’s out for the seaosn minimum, van dijk will unlikely ever play again for us and Gomez is out for a season just need to go back to the drawing board and buy four new centre backs and hope two of them come good.

{Ed025's Note - wow nath you seem to know your medical onions my friend, as i see it VVD will be out for maybe the season but loads with similar injuries have come back and had very good careers, as far as i know joe has not been for a scan yet so the extent of his injuries is still to be assessed, i think you may just be going over the top a bit there mate..

That’s a huge over reaction, there are just rumours flying around at the minute. And VVD will never play for us again? Didn’t realise he lost a leg.

Ed002 you say don’t over react buys it’s hard not to with the injured players Virgil and Gomez out so we have Matip and youngsters to fill the void in our title defence season? Sorry but it’s hard not to feel like we are short of options at the back.

{Ed002's Note - it is simple over-reaction. Have the club said Gomez is out for the season? There are plenty of clubs with injured players - Liverpool has the squad to use plus youngsters.}

Not saying he is out fir the season as it’s yet to be confirmed. I no what your saying mate but we are short in the defence area and have Matip Williams and Philips to lead start for us in the league and champions league. We can patch up and manage best we can but gives others an advantage against us having our 2 best defenders out you just admit that.

If Matip, Fabinho, Nat, Rhys and Henderson go down, I'll be concerned about our back line. Is it going to be difficult with Gomez and VVD out? Yeah. But I trust in Klopp. We don't need to go out and purchase a defender in January unless someone we have intentions of being #1 with Gomez/ VVD back is available.
