Excellent news. Nce one Robbo!

{Ed0666's Note - indeed congrats to the whole Scottish squad and messers Robbo and Clarke.

Of course ed666. Half Scottish myself, this squad needed to qualify. Can't keep saying it's a young group coz, well, they're not anymore. And although Scotland probably get a tough group (not sure of it tbh) but I don't think they're a team that can be immediately written off getting through the group. Some teams, every tournament you get them, you think "no chance" but I don't think Scotland are one of them. Got some tasty players.

This might sound crazy, I know Robbo is A trained exclaimed left back, but does anyone think he could play lm? Or lw in a 442? I say it because you really see the best of Robbo in the final third, linking up with the lw/ lf and dither shooing in crosses or playing deft passes into the box. Scotland always look to get him forward but it must be tough when they font dominate for large periods.

Nah, crazy. You get your lb forward or you don't. He's too good a lb to move I guess. He's a very good footballer though. His dribbling skills are underrated. Absolute superstar for Scotland. So chuffed for him and laddies.

{Ed0666's Note - every tournament Scotland qualify for they get the proverbial group of death I don’t think the euros would be any different. The way our injury situation seems to be going I wouldn’t be surprised Robbo playing left forward in the coming weeks.

Yes, very well done Scotland, super effort. I will be cheering you boys on in the Euros. I'm gutted we couldn't make it there with you. Alas we just came up a bit short. Our team of pensioners, lower league players and bench warmers just didn't have enough this time but I'm still a proud Northern Ireland fan. GAWA😍.

Well I'm full Scottish from ayr IE stevie nichol territory am well chuffed with last nite when we come down to Wembley we will have more fans there than England if allowed don't know how bit we always do the best fans in the world make more noise we know we won't win but whilst there we will enjoy but one thing to look out for is robbo V trent?

Question for anyone to answer how come England get to play 3 games at Wembley in group stages.

13 Nov 2020 10:26:24
Hunter, Euro was meant to be all over europe I'd assume its to limit the travelling a bit so the group stays in one area for 2-4 weeks?, looks like all the games are played in Scotland or England for that group,

13 Nov 2020 10:37:34
Hunter I think host nations automatically were put in certain groups to play at home and depending on how they qualified they got all 3 or 2 games. Was gutted for you guys Irish rover! So close to having all 4 nations there! That would of been awesome! Be tough for Scotland to get out of the group, but 2 home games you've got the best shot you could ask for! At least they aren't in Hungarys position!

Chuffed to bits for Scotland. It's been a very long time coming but they never gave up on their dream of making it to the big time once more. I started watching them in the 1986 WC when Gordon Strachan was killing it vs Germany and have supported them ever since. If only I had known that Fergie was the manager, I would have hated them right after, lol. Too late for that tho, as I still support Scotland till this day.

Fergie biggest mistake as interim manager was not taking Hansen. Criminal. I think he went for the two Aberdeen cbs.
