I think it's either Liverpool or Spurs for the title.

Agree2 Disagree0

Not so fast. Spurs are turning into believers. They have an equal shot as anybody else. This season could go down to the last week and still many chances for surprises.

The only reason spurs have any chance is because jose knows how to park 3 double decker buses in a parking space afforded to a Nissan micra. Chelsea look much more of a threat im glad we got that trip to the bridge out of the way early.

I fancied spurs to be up there. I said top 4. Anything could happen. Chelsea do look dangerous redscar, and i think the more those new players gel the better they'll get.

I didn't think much of werner after 2 or 3 games but he looks well decent. Kai does too, looks like there much more to come from him too.

Yes, Jose parks the bus, and we all know it. They had 4 shots against ManC's 22 shots at goal. So which team was smiling and which team was in tears in the dressing rooms afterwards? I'm no proponent of the "ugly game" (we all bitch about parked buses against us), but I support "efficiency". 😁.

Let’s face it Counter attacking is the cowards way out. Your at home your so called title contenders, don’t sit behind the ball against anyone, they won’t win shat as per usual.

Jose is the enemy of football.

Say what you want about jose but he knows how to get results and against the smaller teams they have played attractive football this year. Add that to Kane finally realising its a team game and Son linking up really well. They could do well but I think europa/ injuries will be there undoing.
I think mourinho and spurs are a perfect match tbh, they have waited so long for a trophy that they will except the pragmatic approach at times if it gets results. Plus its the perfect opportunity for him to show that he isn't as outdated as made out after his failings in his last seasons at United.
As for the title there is a long way to go and anything can happen but I'd much prefer a spurs side without mourinho as he is a winner and maybe he can break their 'spursy' mentality.

With the season surely to be disrupted by C.V., heavy fixture congestion and lots of injuries to every team don't discount wolves. Without European football they will have extra recovery time and I expect them to pain the top 4 all the way this season.

Still think we will win it tho!

We are lucky to have such an attacking creative manager. But it wasn't always that way.
We won the European Cup with rafa. We won a few games buy one goal and defended like lions, and cl no5 is just as important as any of them.

It's a results business, spurs fans won't mind, as long as they're winning. That's a fact.

Already? With Spurs losing 7 points in 9 games and us having done so in 8 games, only one thing that seems to be fairly consistent so far is Inconsistency!

After the first game against Leeds, the great Paul Merson's prophecy was that we would be, at best fighting for top 4 this season. By the end of the Arsenal game, the punditry narrative was that we are going to run away with it this time as well and odds were high on Mourinho and Lampard losing their jobs at some point during the season. Now, in a matter of another 3-4 games, Spurs have become the top contenders; I am sure there will be a lot of twists and turns this season. If we are there and thereabouts with
8-10 games to go, I would be happy (even if we are not leading the pack) .
