Looking at the team sheet really shows how injury hit the team is.

Hendo, Gomez, Trent all casualties on England duty.

Naturally as a Liverpool fan, Fergie was not a favourite of mine but one thing is for sure ( nothing against Klopp and the club ) he protected his players more when it came to club versus country, no way would he have stood for any of Southgate's bull.
