Where does the league stand on this Ed?

Based on what Boris is saying in theory certain teams in the league could gain a significantly greater home advantage (I appreciate 4000 fans isn’t a lot but still) based solely on what tier the local authority is in.

Does that not alter the sporting integrity of the competition a little where there won’t be a level playing field?

I am thinking more about that relegation teams where slight advantages can make huge differences.

{Ed002's Note - It has not been discussed in that sort of detail as the stupidity of doing it was unexpected. There will be a hastily arranged discussion later this week. There will be a fear that for certain clubs, the fans won’t behave and will gather en Masse outside of the grounds- that has to be a consideration. I doubt “advantage” will be a discussion point.}

From what I've read, Liverpool are likely to be in Tier 2, which means up to 2,000 fans may be allowed in.
Tier 1 is up to 4,000 fans may be allowed in.

Once the situation clears further, I will assume that there will be incremental steps, to allow larger numbers of fans back into stadia. I would speculate that Football may be the guinea pig for fans returning to matches.

I also assume that away fans will not be a allowed to travel.
