Reading sly sports there and the hyperbole they are spurting about spurs and Jose!
As far I can see they are on the same points as us and haven’t played the quality of teams we’ve had! But we will see and I’m happy for them to take the favs tag and this is spurs year etc!
Keeps the eye off us too!

Let them boost up jose, he deserves it.

I don't think it can be argued the Jose has Spurs playing a certain type of football that is getting them results.

OP, you are aware that the worst nightmare for many members of the media, is to see LFC win the title in spite of all the issues we have and all their predictions (mouth-breathing wishful thinking, me thinks) of us struggling to win games with esp. VVD out for the season, yeah? You also remember how the media promised us all hell on earth vs Leicester last Sunday, only for Klopp and his boys to make them eat their own crow (with some hot sauce on the side) after the slaughtering we dished out to them.

If you know all of that then why are you surprised that Sky is doing what they are doing? The media has been boosting Spurs for years only for them to come away with a big, fat goose egg so IMO and based on evidence, let them continue.

In fairness Spurs deserve their moment in the sun. After all we have no given right to success and we all know the pain of going many a year without winning titles. Spurs haven't won anything in a long long time so i bet its nice for their fans to bask in their glory so far of what is a good season even though its very early. They can lay down the gauntlet to us along with a number of other teams but i think Klopp and this squad will rise to the challenge. We are in a glory period at the moment under Klopp but that doesn't mean we can begrudge other fans from being happy in their own clubs success or doing well.

It's just to get the Spurs fans to have a bet.

{Ed002's Note - Sky have no involvement with betting.}

I agree with jk23. So what if they're doing well? But fair play to them, got a decent little team. And I don't know why anyone is remotely surprised. Pundits always drool over the team at the top at this time of the year.

But honestly, I'm really not worried, I think we are a way better team.

What is the issue with others having some air time? At the end of the season, if they win the league, they would have deserved it. With Three Fourth of the season still to go and City 8 behind with a game in hand, to discount them or Chelsea at this stage wouldn't be wise.

After the performance against Everton, I think we all thought Jose was potentially going to get sacked by December; so it has been a turnaround of sorts and only time will tell if it lasts. But I think they deserve the air time. I don't mind the focus to be elsewhere.

Heaven forbid the media talking up a team that is top of the league and not Liverpool. How dare they!

I will be more than happy to compete with Spurs for the title than Manchester City. Tottenham are years away from us even with no back 4.

25 Nov 2020 01:34:55
Is this a real issue? We are sitting equal top despite our extensive injury list. Honestly couldn't care less if there wasn't another story written about us for the rest of the season if we go back to back.

Let them have their moment in the sun, they are top of the league and playing some good football. Just enjoy what our boys are doing on the field and the rest doesn't matter.
