Do you no the expected return on Thiago please mate? It seems like he was only out for a few days after that horrid challenge by Richtwatason and that he had been back in light training weeks ago but still he has yet to return and is still sidelined for tonight's game?

{Ed001's Note - I answered this already today. He is being given fitness tests regularly as he is close, but he is just not quite there yet. Fingers crossed it will be the weekend, but it might be a couple of weeks, no one is entirely sure.}

Just goes to show how dreadful, dangerous and potentially season-ending that tackle was. I am just super happy he will be playing again very soon cos it could have been a whole lot worse for him and us, collectively.

Spot on RM. James Pearce did an article on it the other wek and the club were actually pleased that it could be 8 weeks and not the full season. The hope was he would return sooner hopefully 4-6 weeks. I think its around 6 weeks now so he's actually ahead of schedule if what Pearce has said is true.

Out of interest, what exactly goes on in a fitness test? What sort of stuff do they have to pass?
