Evening eds1
I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind answering them.
1. The only reason am asking this is because this isn’t a normal season by a long shot but because we are very thin on players and there are so many games and it clear we can’t play at the same level as we are used to should we put all a egg in one basket and concentrate on the prem or CL to give ourselves a better chance.
2 Not to long ago we thought we had the strongest bench in a long time with the players we’ve got. What do you think about them now they are getting called upon Are they up to it or do we need a clear out at some point.?
Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - 1. No of course not, every team is in the same boat, so we have just as much of a chance as any of them.
2. What a strange question. They are getting called on and getting results most of the time, surely that should answer the question? We should be very thankful that we have such a strong squad this year. Next season might be different, if it is a more normal one then we probably won't need anything like as many players.}

As much as I'm disappointed today, we're top of the league currently which means we've got better results than anyone else so far this season? We're also still top of our UCL group.

I didn’t think it was a strange question eds. it’s a perfect time to access if there up to it. I personally think it’s highlighted quite a few things. I think Phillips is a massive plus for us and I don’t see the need to buy a new cb. Fab is an absolute top player in more than one position. Jota no words needed. I don’t see the point in keeping origi or naby any longer. Am not sure what to make of mino. I think the kids have done ok and this is great experience for them and am sure we will reap the benefits later on.

Longthing, your question would be a good one if this was under normal conditions. Clearly, this is not the case. You questioning whether this or that player is up for it in a season where this squad blighted by injuries is top of the league is a slap in the face of every single player and every single member of the staff, IMO.

You talk of Naby or Origi not being up for it. Naby had a good game last week when we needed it till he was injured so not sure what you are on about. Also Seriously, Is this the time for such a debate where we are going to need every single one of these players due to the injuries we have? Yes, your question is strange, IMO.
