It’s not hard picking between van Dijk and Carragher/ Hyypia. Virgil is better than them both combined, neither of the latter are anywhere close.
The rest are good choices.

Mark - Hyypia was obviously miles better than Carragher, but he was nowhere near Virgil’s level. Perhaps I’m being a little harsh given Hyypia achieved a great deal with us but was surrounded by far lesser players than Virgil.

Molby would be a good shout for 5 a side. He would literally stand still and dictate the play and the opposition wouldn’t have much space to get around him. Molby, Thiago and Alonso in a keep ball drill would be a dream to watch.

I think that I would go for:

Gerrard Can pick a pass and score from anywhere
Suarez Make a goal out of nothing

My views on Carragher are he gave his all. All the time.
Not saying he’s in the class level of Hyppia or Virg. Just that in 5-@-side he’s desire would be a quality to have.

Regarding the Hyypia v VVD debate, it's Hyypia for me, any day! He was special and in my opinion better than VVD. Imagine him in his prime in this team now? we can dream.
