Yep we were garbage. People said we battered them and had enough chances but they were better than us in the second half. It was a terrible performance as other teams have shown us.

We just took the game too lightly and got punished. The first 20 minutes we were getting in for fun and just took our foot off the gas as it was too easy so the players expected the win to just happen. Then when they played slightly better in the second half we couldn’t get going again.

It’s not the first time this has happened to any team and it won’t be the last. Comparing their results against other teams is just ridiculous. If we had taken our chances in the first 20 minutes we’d have beaten them comfortably but we didn’t and we got complacent. It happens. It shouldn’t happen but we are dealing with human beings here not robots.

Mark sometimes you need to give the opposition credit for playing well. WBA made it difficult and we didn’t take our chances when we did get through. They deserved the point in that game.

Newcastle we should of won but weren’t clinical.

Fulham were great for half an hour, we were dire and managed to convert to a draw but couldn’t win.

Brighton we were unlucky but that should of taught us a 1-0 lead is always risky.

But teams definitely see us as the team to beat and therefore they do have that extra incentive going in to the game. Just look at Watford last season.

But it will always be down to us to find a way and so far against the teams above we haven’t.

I’d be a bit p##sed off if I was a fan of another club and they only raised their game twice a season to play Liverpool. My question would be why aren’t they raising their game for the other 36 league games.
