Good number of LFC support desperate for Werner, for me Jota has been twice the player.

Struggling or just zero confidence in a Chelsea system that doesn't suit?

He would be miles better under klopp. The impact of proper man management can't be underestimated. Plus, did he really want the Chelsea move after his very public flirting with Liverpool?

Werner looks bad, Havertz looks hopeless.

He just puts his head down and tries to beat players with speed. Confidence is shot to bits. Am sure he must be better under Klopp.

I watched the Chelsea v City game yesterday, what was Werner trying or had been asked to do? He ended up attempting the Firmino role almost (poorly), he was everywhere but in the area.
Ziyech is a liability defensively and Havertz hasn’t settled yet.
Chelsea had good young players out wide and at AM and they went and spent all that money on buying another set. Bizarre.
As a consequence, Lampard doesn’t seem to know his best team and the worry is, after a huge financial outlay, that the best solution is often Giroud up front?

{Ed0666's Note - it’s because the Chelsea hierarchy knew that no one of merit would touch Chelsea during a transfer ban so they hired lampard thus appeasing the fans and getting them through the embargo. Lampard over achieved and now is being found out. I expect him to be gone by the end of January.

Two high profile germans not really kicking on, Tuchel available- the math is not that hard, if I were to place a bet.

Werner for us would be unreal, id take him all day long.

Drogie, Many of us wanted Werner and that includes me and so did Klopp and that is a known fact. IMO, He would have been miles better under Klopp (just like Jota has been) than what he is doing now at Chelsea cos clearly, he is playing under an overrated, incompetent manager who IMO, has always been out of his depth and would have never got the job if he was not a legend for them.

According to Ed02, Jota was 3rd or 4th choice behind Werner and Sarr and one other that I cannot remember so him struggling does not surprise me cos he was a beast at RBL even tho he misses too many chances even while playing for them during a period.

Jota has come good for us and we are delighted so let us just be thankful for the awesome scouting job Edwards and his team do cos once again, Salah was NOT first choice (Julian Brandt was) and neither was AB1 (Klopp wanted really wanted Oblak over him) .
