Ed01, I'd appreciate your view on what side we should put out for the Villa game, please. I think I'm in the tiny minority who think we should go full strength and try and play our way out of this. I don't see the need for our players to have to wait till a week on Sunday before their next game. Utd have the Carabao and Burnley in the Premiership before they play us, in addition to the FA cup, which I'm sure they'll take seriously.

It's probably a generation thing, but my one beef with Klopp is his disregard for the FA cup since he's been here. Anyone who's watched us, like me, win at Wembley and down in Cardiff know what the FA cup means.

I’d like to see us go full strength but with Minamino having a start. I’d put Hendo back into midfield with Thiago and Wiji and Williams at the back with Fab. After Villa beat us 7-2 they will be full of attacking confidence so if we go weak it could end up a big score loss.

Totally agree lad's go full strength and get the winning feeling buzzing around the club again. We are not in the gutter by any stretch of the imagination but we definitely need some positive vibes around the team at the minute. Oh just in case that I forgot to say it HAPPY NEW YEAR LAD'S YNWA.

You guys got beat 7-2 by Aston Villa. Surely people would want to exact some revenge. Also this may not be the ideal season to try and go far in the cups but I struggle to think of the last time you guys looked even close to winning one of the do domestic cups. A cup run is the one thing Klopp has yet to check off.

I agree with post, we should go full strength.
We need to use any 90 minute game to assess how the players are gelling. E. g. Thiago and Ox. It all helps build confidence.

We don't want revenge, we want to win football games.
Especially against Villa for that jammy 7-2 and all those lucky deflections!

I didn't mean to say you guys are unsatisfied with finally winning the PL for the first time or winning another UCL. However Liverpool haven't performed well in the domestic cups for the past few years. Surely you guys would love to win a treble. I didn't try to suggest that you guys should forget about the league and CL but still surely you guys would enjoy winning the cups as well.

Not bothered about the FA cup. It’s an unnecessary distraction at the moment. I’d rather give the youngsters a game and give our first choices a rest.
