Just hearing the news about Villa and an outbreak for their first team.
They'll either have to forfeit or play the kids unfortunately.
If they play the U18 would we play our fringe players and rest some players? Could do the front 3 some good.

Ed’s could you explain how some games go ahead with mixture of under 18 and under 23s such as Derby County but other games are postponed. Why is not the same for all clubs. Either postpone or play the younger player but it can’t be one rule for one club and another rule for another. Surely it undermines the integrity of the competition.

{Ed002's Note - These are not "rules" as Derby are playing Chorley and there is no interaction between the first tteam squad and the youngsters - so they say they can play the tie.}

Ed002 any idea what date the Fa have in mind for the postponed Fa cup games as the fourth round is on the 23rd Jan and there’s a full fixture list the weekend before. Would it be a simple case of squeezing midweek fixtures in between the 16th - 23rd or delaying the fourth round fixtures.

This is getting silly now, they stopped the league originally over two cases if I remember correctly. Albeit we knew a lot less about C.V. but there seems to be a huge increase in outbreaks within clubs. If the bubbles can't keep it out then I think the game needs a break to regroup. Its a game end of the day and health has to come first.
