FREE MINAMINO!

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2021 14:23:32
Free as in there's no charge or free as in release him from captivity🤷‍♂️.

10 Jan 2021 15:36:23
Send him back where we got him?
I’ll agree to that.

10 Jan 2021 15:52:42
Minamino hardly ever plays but you want him to come into the team and perform. Only got to luck at Danny Ings could not get going when he played for us because he hardly played now look at him. Minamino has only been here a year coming in January is never easy and on top of that not a proper preseason. Then the teams form has been up and down. He needs more time to settle in.

10 Jan 2021 15:55:54
Theres an example Jay. enough said.

10 Jan 2021 16:20:01
Pass the ball to Minamino would be a better battle cry.
Yes i am talking to you Mo Salah!

10 Jan 2021 16:22:11
Bobby Firmino being a prime example.
It's doubtful we'd have won the trophies we have in the last 3 years or so without Bobby. Yet there were plenty (and there still are) who wanted rid of him.
Total numpties.

10 Jan 2021 16:45:36
He should be trusted and given a run in my opinion, he is starting too look like he is finding his feet .
He was doing well then axed out the team even against villa youth.

10 Jan 2021 17:38:57
I firmly believe that Taki will come good lad's.

10 Jan 2021 17:56:56
Mental how it’s doubtful we would have won any trophies without Bobby. Didn’t he sign in 15 though. So what happened to him winning us trophies from 15-18. Last time I checked we had a world class team not a 1 man team.

10 Jan 2021 18:30:27
Maybe if they passed him the ball more we would actually get to see the quality he has cos I can count how many times he gets open due to his brilliant movement and gets overlooked. We all saw how brilliant he is when he gets involved at Palace but clearly, that’s not enuff.
If I can see that then I’m sure his detractors can see it too if they actually bothered to try.

10 Jan 2021 18:46:01
I think you miss the point there JK23. Even a world class team is made up of important pieces and Bobby is one important piece of the team. Remember the match against Flamengo? Imagine your "world class" team without Bobby in it, it simply means that something will be missing from the way Klopp plays. I think this is bare.

10 Jan 2021 19:29:38
Ugbes I didn’t miss the point mate. I understand how teams are made up and how important individuals can be. After all we are suffering currently from the loss of Vvd, Gomez and even Matip. We miss Allison when he’s not missing and we also miss Mane and Salah when they are our. We’re even missing Jota’s directness and eye for goal at the moment. You’ve used 1 game as an example with imagine if he didn’t play against them to try and prove your point. If he hadn’t have played then who knows what would have happened. He played so everything else would be just speculation. Different horses for courses. I’d also say Salah is an important piece as well but imagine if him and Bobby had played against Barcelona when we beat them 4-0. Who knows what would have happened if we had 2 important pieces in there instead of the squad players.

I never understand why Bobby keeps getting mentioned in these type of threads. In Bobby’s only good season Liverpool were trophy less. We won it 6 times without Bobby, he has never turned up in any of our finals and against MAn U and Everton he has been dire. He plays well atm 1 in 7 and that is generous. Last season we won the league in spite of Bobby being a passenger not because he contributed much at all. I remember a very slow start, a decent December and then back to 5 out of 10.

There is an article on the athletic discussing minamino and that the reason he is not making the team is due to defensive issues. he needs to work harder on that side of his game.

11 Jan 2021 04:42:34
Sorry friends Taki won't cut it with us. He needs a loan to play everyday.
His issues are same as lallana but he is nowhere near his level at getting out of them. He keeps the ball far too long and inevitably makes the pass that kills the move under pressure. In the box he can't sort his feet out.
He is trying too many things which is a sign football is not coming naturally to him on the field. His performance against kids was woeful. The number of times he got out paced and out muscled was ridiculous.
Another thing he doesn't shout or speak much and often runs into his own team mates. Clear sign he isn't communicating well on the pitch.
He actually needs a loan move to somewhere like brighton or even Sheffield where english football is shoved down his throat.
Klopp won't get the best out of him. He is way too soft for klopps demanding style.

11 Jan 2021 11:09:36
Mark08, I agree with you. The thread is about Minamino. It is others that have dragged Bobbie into it for reasons only they can explain.

11 Jan 2021 12:30:08
Minamino should get more game time to get up to pace and Bobby should be benched/ sold/ moved deeper, if he is to stay in the team, never on the last man, nothing is sticking to him and doesn't score anywhere near enough, we need a new way of playing now, Thiago is going to start more moves and i think we are going to need a man in the box to finish off the moves he starts, Bobby is always way to deep so the ball is just coming back to us now more than ever.

11 Jan 2021 13:05:37
Mark08 agree that Bobby shouldn't be brought into these conversations as often as he is.

However, to say he didn't contribute to number 6 is a bit unfair. He scored the last min winner vs PSG in the group which turned out to be vital. He also laid on a few assists and scored 3 other goals as well as being a vital cog in the teams tactics.

Everyone has the right to discuss a players form and Bobby has had poor patches I don't think anyone would disagree with you on that. But he's been a key player throughout our most successful years in "recent" history, hopefully once he leaves he will get the respect he deserves. Whatever your thoughts on current form, the ability of the player or their future with the team, we should all celebrate every squad member who made our recent successes possible because those are the memories we live for and why we love football. It doesn't mean we can't debate and argue over what the team needs moving forward but showing players a bit more respect wouldn't hurt would it?

11 Jan 2021 18:11:28
Minamino should be given more game time, Origi has come on as a sub, legend that he is, he doesn't really have a future with Liverpool, and his transfer money is needed to go towards a much needed Centre Back,
I am sure that we will sign this player, we can't keep paying two midfielders i the back four, this only weakens our midfield, hence getting beat last match,
we will sign this player next week,
if we don't bring a centre back in, well Top Four will be our aim .
