If Edwards cannot get it done then for sure, it was never possible and there is simply nobody out there we could take a punt on, IMO. The guy’s record is simply legendary.

Imo it will be a big mistake not getting one and will more than likely cost us in the league run in.? we have Fab then 2 defenders that Klopp clearly doesn’t trust as he played Henderson in front of them. Must be a good defender and the right money available somewhere.

Funny how many people are already throwing the towel in.
It's as if last season spoiled a lot of "supporters". Because we're not 20 points clear we've blown it.
Beat the Mancs at the weekend and we're top again. Their run of dubious penalties and joke refereeing decisions that seem to save them again and again won't last for ever.

Can’t wait for the game on Sunday. Fancy is to beat United. These games probably suit us more at the moment, teams who hopefully won’t be parking the bus allow our front three a bit of room to play in.

Spot on, Thunderbird. You cannot say not doing something is a mistake whereas there was nothing that could be done. You cannot make other teams sell/ loan their players to us even if we DID had the money. Now that money is even tighter, it makes it even worse.

IMO, I do not want us to get a player in just for the sake of it or if he does not fit fully with what we are trying to do defensively. That is even worse than not getting someone in, IMO. Might as well stick to coaching up the young CB's we have cos at least they know the system and their qualities or flaws can be adapted to it.
