Just my two pennies worth on Bobby. I have been a massive fan and appreciate his efforts for the team, his goals tally has always been lower than Salah or Mane. Just think we all need a bit of realism about it, yes give him a rest, take him out for a game see if mini can make such an impact but our team without him is worse off.

It was only 3 weeks ago he scored the winner against spurs and a stunner against palace!

I’m half made up where we are in the league and half gutted, to be missing our two first choice cbs and still be towards the title is a fair effort, but it could have been so different if we had kicked on over Xmas. We could have been 5 points at least clear and it would be a different story!

One last bit of positivity, anyone seen VVD kicking a ball about! Come on big man 🤙.

TAA, I'm all in favour of your positivity but I can also see why some are disappointed with our current position.

It is less than six months ago when, having taken our post-lockdown foot off the gas due to having already securing the title, we finished 18 points clear of our nearest rival and 33 points clear of the current leaders.

The decision to start the season with only three CB's, of which two had abysmal fitness records, looks as though it will define our season especially if the error is not rectified this window, as seems likely.

Fan here too. got to stop expecting goals from bobby. Bobby does what helps the other two score 20+. Unfortunately they can't hit the barn door since the last month or so and so bobby looks useless.

OP, I fully agree with you regarding Bobbie. Only last month was he tricking, flicking, assisting and scoring for us and those two goals vs Palace are candidates for goals of the season. How quickly things change cos since then, he has been missing chances and Salah and Mane have caught the bug as well.

As much as I have said Mini should get his chance, let us keep supporting our boys up top cos they have given us so much to cheer for these past three years. It also does not help that Jota who could have offered something different is injured which makes things worse for us. What do you do when your first choice players are injured and their back ups are injured? Deal with headaches on a daily basis, if you are the manager.

Firmino hasn’t been at the races for a while now and the odd good game over the past 12 few months isn’t good enough, granted he’s not the only one. The attachment fans have to him is admirable but if we’re honest he is the easiest one to drop from a front three that isn’t working and hasn’t been for a while. More than happy for him to sit a game out next while we try something new.
