I think Klopp should throw caution to the wind and go back to heavy metal football of, you score and we’ll score more. I’d rather see us try and win games 4-3 or 5-4 than the last month where it’s been 0-0 or 1-1. After all, we now have Allison a in goal compared to last time of Mignolet or karius.

Sod possession football of playing backwards and side to side. Just attack and play riskier. Draws are ok for teams at the bottom trying to get to 35 points but are almost worthless at the top. If we ain’t going to win the league we might as well entertain trying.

Might aswell. But teams don't really want to go blow for blow with us anymore because they fear mane and salah so will naturally sit deeper.

{Ed0666's Note - I’d swap Bobby for Shaq for a while and see what happens. Shaq would have to work his gonads off tho pressing, linking up play as well as being offensive.

{Ed0666's Note - I think it’s telling that he hasn’t been used as sub the last few games (not first sub anyway) especially as we didn’t have an array of offensive options off the bench. Klopp won’t replace a low on confidence Bobby with a ready to go Taki speaks volumes to me. Also when he has played he’s not really shone. I would love him to take his opportunity as I think first and foremost he’s a nice guy and a talented footballer. He’s always making himself busy and causing mischief in the box. I hope I’m wrong and he gets his chance against Burnley tommorow.

To play the heavy metal football as you called it. we need the opponents to do their bit, and play football. West brom, Brighton and Southampton really just keep packing their defences and hope to knick a goal. Boring football.

Maybe not so much as heavy metal then but more like all out attack rather than possession based football whilst creating little chances against named teams who park the bus. 4213 but with the fullbacks almost as wingers. Keep Salah and Mane in the box as I reckon 98% of our last 50 crosses we’ve got 1 player in the box against 6 defenders.

Not sure we even play heavy metal football anymore and haven’t done so in three years.
