Wishful thinking I know, but I can't help but feel that all these social media posts from VVD are a sign that he'll be back soon. All these positive updates from him are only good news.

Not saying he'll back for Burnley tonight, but maybe for the game on Sunday?

Its very teasing i agree. I didn't expect to see him even kicking a ball until Feb or March so its encouraging. If we see him by May I'd be amazed.

Lads save yourself the heart break of the he will be back sooner etc because one small set back could add months to his rehabilitation and imagine the fume and tears! He be back when he’s back!

By the end of the registration window we'll know how VVD and Gomez are doing. So far VVD is not included in the epl squad but Gomez is. Correct me if I'm wrong ✌️.

Ed02 is it this month teams submit there changed squads? I guess if Klopp includes VVD that would be a hint at how his rehab is going.

Seen reports online that Gomez is expected to be out for the longest. Not sure how true but they reported that Jota is expected back in early Feb, Vvd’s rehab and recovery is going very well and Gomez was still in early stages of rehab. I’ve also seen pics of Gomez on a wattbike which is a great piece of equipment and used a lot in rehab due to the readings it gives. Ie if there are any imbalances and also the force through each leg from every pedal stroke. It can also be used for strength work as well as endurance whilst safeguarding any recovering injuries from high impact that running or walking does.

I can’t imagine he’s going to be back at all this season unless it’s for a few cameos. He’s not going to back in the starting line up playing full games after an injury like that, regardless of if he’s ahead of schedule or not.

Literally 12 mins ago Liverpool Fb page have just released pictures of Joe doing lots of rehab. No sign of any knee supports or strapping but he has hell of a scar over his knee (not sure if it’s from this injury or old) . My 11 year old sons just shown me on his fb page as he follows the official LFC page.

That is a good point Marto. Sounds like if he was to be included in the squad that it would be the most promising sign we've had of his recovery yet.

I don't know if he will be able to make a difference in this seasons title race, it'd be good to have him back for the FA Cup and Champions league final though. ;)
