Massively disappointing.

Been avoiding posting as don't want to be reactionary, but 5 games straight were we have been piss poor is not reactionary.

1 goal in 5 games, abysmal.

I was confident we could retain it start of this season, we have the players, we have the manager.

Unfortunately our standards have clearly dropped. We're in a top 4 battle now.

3 games straight not winning at Anfield, this is our bread and butter. This has been what's been keeping us semi competitive this season as our away form has been atrocious.

3 straight away games on the spin now, can only see the gap to the top getting bigger currently.

The players have down tools. It’s not a blip. It’s not form. It’s a matter of effort, there’s no justifying these performances. And I believe it’s because the club didn’t buy a CB on January the 1st. It’s no coincidence we were top at Christmas and now they’ve chucked it.

I don’t why some people thought we were going to smash Burnley. have you seen how we have been playing lately? That’s the title race over Now, we can’t score to save our lives and it doesn’t look like that will change. I think we will struggle to get top four if we don’t sort things out soon. City are going to destroy us that’s all I know if we continue to play like this!

Precisely we have been absolutely shocking the past month or so, anyone that says otherwise is kidding themselves.
It shows that we need to make a few changes to the core of the team, definitely need a striker that scores goals. I love Firmino and what he does for the team but right now he’d be better suited as a 10 behind a goal scoring striker.

I don’t know what’s going on but we just look so flat and have no ideas in the final third.

But we go again against United and again against Spurs I hope we get a response from the lads.

We had 9 days off still look terrible and can’t score. We’ve had 75 shots in the last 4 prem games and scored 1. We are in some deep rubbish! And we are also lucky we aren’t playing CL at the min because we would be out of that as well.

We are in a fight for top 4 and anybody who says “stop overacting” has the strongest red tinted glasses on. Our performances are just so stale its actually painful to watch. We have become so predictable and void of ideas and it seems every team has sussed us out. We don’t even have the luxury of playing our way out of this form because the way the league is a few results could see us drop down to like 7-10 place, or even worse. We need to dip into the transfer market because I honestly don’t know how we can change things.

I don't buy that LFC8, mate. If they were that precious, they'd have never won the CL and PL in the first place.

I mean, I'm as annoyed and confused as most people I would guess into what is going wrong but some of the things people post is even more confusing.
Even if your post did make any sense I still think it is highly disrespectful to suggest that any player would down tools, especially half way thru a season.

We have not seriously troubled an opposition keeper for almost 5 games. Not once. That’s a huge issue.

Can't understand such a big drop in performance since our best display of the season at Palace. So many players going "off the boil" at once - makes me think something has happened between the players maybe?
