I think its disgusting how these lesser teams come to our majestic home ground and just sit back and defend. I have looked in to the laws of football and apperently that is allowed! How dare they think of thier own club and getting every point they can to survive and keep thier clubs afloat.

When they come here from their pokey little grounds and play the Champions of England and six time European champions they should play open expansive football and try and play like we do, they should let our man Thiago play those delicate little flicks and passes in to the box like they let him do in Germany so he can open them up, I saw it on that YouTube how he did it 50 times a season, and then we can win every game 5-0. This is an outrage and should not be allowed . I mean this is meant to be a spectator sport, how are Brighton, WBA, Southampton, Burnley, Fulham, Spurs and Manchester United even allowed on a pitch playing like that. Surley the rules need changing to say you have to match the tactics of the superior team so that it is good to watch and an easy home win. Im sorry but I simply do not see how this can be allowed to continue.

And let's not forget all of our injuries, VvD, Matip, Gomez, Mane, Kieta, Jota, Alison. If Harry Potter the Brighton manger had any sportsmanship in him he would have named his under 23s against us. Alright they had 5 first team players missing aswell but that simply does not count in the grand scheme of things and bowing to our superiority and history dictates they play a junior team so we can win. Its is an outrage and if one more team plays this way against us and has the nerve, niegh audacity to actually win I shall simply support that team in Manchester that is doing so well, you know Manchester United's biggest rivals, Salford that's the one, I shall support the mighty Salford.

Agree8 Disagree0

Injuries or no injuries, the so called second string aren't good enough and Klopp seems to running out of ideas. Another shocking result against a bottom 6 side.

Brilliant mate but You’ve got it all wrong. It’s Vars fault, it’s the Refs, it’s because we miss our fans more than others. It’s because we have a disrupted line up and we can only play the same team selection 😂 I swear some of these Liverpool fans are blind. They’ve chucked it, I don’t know ‘why’ I thought it was because we didn’t sign anyone but I was wrong. But I’m fully right they’ve all tools down. How can anyone argue against that?
They’re walking, not creating, it’s slow boring predictable football and are not running though walls for the manager.
The mentality has to change and they need double training sessions until it does. Klopp is totally drained, I’m worried.

It’d be nice if they tried it at some of the other grounds too! Nobody gets themselves sent off after 30 seconds against us and nobody is giving us easy penalties either.

Brilliant post mate I needed that👍😂.

Every team as injuries the players are simply not playing for Kopp thus season.

04 Feb 2021 03:06:16
Mighty reds, as of mid January Liverpool players have missed a combined 77 league games through injury this season, Manchester United players have missed a combined 21 games through injury. No club has had as many injuries as Liverpool this season.

04 Feb 2021 04:44:02
Thunderbird we are not having any shots on target against the bottom six, so are you saying the squad built by Kopp is not good enough?

04 Feb 2021 05:56:33
No I am saying you are wrong, not every club has injuries, certainly not to the extent we have had. Our players look knackered, some of them have barely had a rest all season. Tsimikas was bought to give Robertson a break but he’s had C.V. and been injured, Robertson has had to play almost every game, same with Wijnaldum, Salah etc. Our squad is good enough but we are arguably missing 7 of our first choice team right now.

04 Feb 2021 06:28:47
Thunderbird I’ve thought of 5 of the first choice we are missing mate.
Vvd, Gomez and Matip - only 2 of them can be first choice
Allison - only missed last night and even though he might have saved the goal it wouldn’t have helped us score.
Fab - he’s missed 2 but has still played in the majority of the games we’ve struggled in dec / jan. Appreciate though he’s played out of position.
Jota - is he first choice over Bobby. Maybe in some fans eyes but not in Klopps or the fans who refuse to contemplate he has a bad game.
Mane - agree he is a massive miss. Not been the same player this year but he is important to the team but again another who has only missed last few and has played a lot of the games we’ve not won.

Unfortunately some of our first team are either not likely to play soon due to injury or are massively out of form. I think Klopp needs to be ruthless and drop some out for extended breaks.

04 Feb 2021 07:01:26
You can’t ignore injuries to important squad players like Jota. It means we have no alternatives to our out of form front 3.

That was the third game in a week that the same midfield started and I think it showed, they didn’t anywhere near the same energy as usual.

You also have to count Hendo as an absence JK23 because he’s not playing in midfield, that’s a huge loss whichever way you look at it.

04 Feb 2021 08:11:48
Thinks Fabhino not being in midfield also need mentioning - he is very good at bringing the ball from deep and drawing out the opposition.

04 Feb 2021 08:17:40
Comes to something when you say that the midfield looks tired after playing three games, these are athletes at their peak of fitness, should be able to play, I don't get time of work because I've worked all week, the lot of them need to have a look at themselves, get back to basics and go again in this strange season, it's not over till it's over.

{Ed001's Note - yes you do, you get a weekend off after working all week. Some of these posts are getting embarrassing now.}

04 Feb 2021 08:19:08
Shaq Hendo is a loss in midfield. But he was there in the draws to Brighton, Fulham, Wba and Newcastle.
