Again the doom and gloom merchants are out in force. Did anyone here really believe, I mean really believe before the Barcelona game that we would score four against Barcelona and not concede without Mo and Bobby. I’m sure most people like myself only hoped it was possible.

This team is far from done and until it’s mathematically impossible to retain the title league is not lost. We play a game on Sunday that if we win we are back to four points behind. There are a lot of points to be played for yet.

The moaners will always moan, the rest keep believing please.

Well said mate.

But your not commenting on performances from this season.

I’m assuming you didn’t watch the game last night abc you don’t know who our opponents are at the weekend? The form that City are in at the moment it’s hard to see them losing, they don’t concede and they’ve got goals throughout their team, we look like we’re going to concede a soft goal every time we play. Our midfield has no goals and looks sluggish, and if our front three don’t click, we don’t score.

Love the positivity pal but it’s over! Injuries are crippling us and it’s cost us massive! We will go again!

The irony is you're moaning about people moaning 🙄🤣.

Listen if you believe we can still win the league or whatever absolutely fine.

But if people disagree that is also sound 👍.

Took some time to deliberate and read all the posts and see what others think. I always try to be positive, but as one of the Ed’s said, since the big injuries to Virgil and Gomez, turned it into a long tough season. Hopefully we get top 4, have a good run in the champions league and end the season on a high.

Made my mind up though, only one person to blame in all this, luis Suarez.

Don’t know why it’s his fault yet, he is just a scumbag 😂

Being disappointed or frustrated as you were and supporting the team are not mutually exclusive. I voiced my concerns but on the whole Im not “annoyed” for lack of a better word than I was yesterday. Perspective is we have had injuries which have hampered us. Perspective is those injuries have been in numbers and to key players. Perspective is winning the league under our current predicament was always going to be a achievement. Perspective is that we have also been playing poor pre injuries and that some fans are just concerned. Is it moaning or is it called having a difference in opinion that allows for conversation.

I respect those that are happy with everything where there are sunshine and rainbows all year round and see nothing wrong in anything we do and those in between. I agree, there are a lot of points to play for. But we should honestly take it one game at a time and just focus on top four and if we go on an amazing run, although extremely unlikely then perfect it’s a bonus and we all share in the spoils.

Trouble is mate, City are 7 points ahead, a game in hand, haven’t lost since November, not conceding goals and player really well without KDB and Aguero

Won’t be putting my money us to retain the title 😂.

{Ed0666's Note - now I love me a realist

It's easy. Keep the faith lads. That's what we do.

I love the club but its not the end of the world is it. Jurgen has said many times football is not the most important thing so just enjoy the ride.

There always next year lol

Let's stay positive, football is a strange old game. That's a given.

People are entitled to their opinion and I would never say that they are not. I’ve plenty to moan about myself, trust me. Life is tough lads and this is a game of football we are talking about. So perhaps a little perspective required.

Yes I saw the match last night, I also know who we are playing on Sunday. The performance was poor, but I trust Jurgen to improve the form and hopefully if we get some of our injured players back we will be in the fight. The fact that we are anywhere near the top at the min given all the injuries should be celebrated, but that’s just my humble opinion.

Also before I’m accused of it I’m not claiming to be a better fan than anyone here, there is no denying the obvious issues but its still not over till it’s over. If we don’t retain the league feel free to remind or ridicule me.

I live in live in hope, in the knowledge that the team and klopp won’t lie down and die and will keep fighting till the end.

04 Feb 2021 21:19:58
However, drogie, you’d get pretty good odds now 😉.

04 Feb 2021 21:28:23
Again Meath, good post but both Klopp and a Robbo came out after the match and insinuated we’re not in the title race anymore, so of the boss is saying that.

As for moaning and it only being a football game, I think everyone is different. For me, making my points known on here actually takes my mind off the crap that’s gripping the country. I turn on the radio - C.V., watch the news - C.V. Liverpool Banter site - something to take my mind off the stresses of work and the C.V.

04 Feb 2021 21:33:07
Meath Red - Can’t fault you for anything you said in the post above. Mane, Fab and Jota should all be back in the next week. For me top 4 should be our focus and if we do better then I’ll be pleasantly surprised and ecstatic. But hey, it’s a funny ol’ season so anything can happen, so in your words I live in hope.

04 Feb 2021 22:15:32
I totally get that posting here is a great distraction from all the crap we are living through. The last thing I’m trying to do is be divisive.

I’m just trying to take the positives after a bad showing, not many last night I know. Then again that can used as motivation for Sunday.

I don’t believe that Klopp and Robbo or anyone in the first team bubble have already surrendered in February it’s not in their make up. When they said last season that they were not thinking about winning the league I didn’t believe them either. We are Liverpool and we don’t give up. If we did it would be five not six European wins. There is still hope.
