Ed001 do you think Klopp will play either of the bee CB's. city? I was hoping for a Fabinho and Kabak partnership and push Hendo into the holding roll?

{Ed001's Note - I would hope he will play one though I don't want to see Fabinho there if at all possible.}

It would make sense to play Hendo in defence for continuity for me and put Fabinho back in midfield, at least then someone is playing in the right position for once rather than put Hendo in the 6 as it’s not really his best position, plus Fabinho always seems to do well against City.

It worked perfectly fine against Spurs and West Ham Mark. The Brighton game was just one too many in a week for an unchanged midfield IMO.

Given our midfield were struggling so badly on Wednesday, it seems to me that Henderson’s leadership and energy would be required there.
Which says to me that Fabinho will probably return to centre back, maybe with one of the new lads.
So I’m thinking Henderson, Wijnaldum and Thiago in midfield and the usual front 3 ahead.
If it is that, it’ll be interesting to see how Thiago fits in the mix.
I’m still not sure of him in a midfield 3, though to be fair we’ve never had the full team out to bed him in.

Your right Shaq but we know Milner can't perform game after game. We know Gini is getting tired as is Robbo so can't perform 2 games back to back. Jones changed the game v Spurs but then hardly gets a look in. The staff knew the team were tired but still didn't freshen it up.

Think I’d like to see fab back in midfield and Hendon stay at the back until OK and BD are up to speed. Hendo has been impressive me that much at the back to the point where I’ve started thinking is it worth keeping him there and buy a new midfielder to replace him.

I agree Jucier. We will only see Thiago at his best when we have a nearly fully fir team. Atm I am unsure wether Thiago should be in the team.

Gini has literally downed tools to the point where its embarrassing watching walking through games and letting players run passed him. He’s not bothered if we win or lose. And you want to drop Thiago unbelievable mate.

Not sure what Klopp should do for the best TBH but he’s got to get it right or it could get embarrassing. Fabinho has a tendency to dive in or go to ground where Hendo stays on his feet. But Hendo’s leadership and energy in midfield help protect the back four. It’s such a difficult situation we find ourselves in. Maybe the best form of defence is attack. But that’s looked a bit stale lately. I’m lost. Think I’ll just let Klopp make the decision and back him to get it right. 😂.
