Bad champions bull crap,
We are the only team too match city for 2 seasons and get 90 + points during that time we won champions league, super an club world club champions and obviously the premier league. This is all without the aid of being pumped with multi billion pound cash rich owners .
Who since man city the winning machine has kept up with them
Man united No! Chelsea No! Tottenham No! Only us, we actually deserve credit but media, fans an ex players will only focus on negatives . This season we are being judged on standards set from previous seasons unfortunately an the squad just can't keep the standards up .

Agree3 Disagree0

If you’re referring to Roy Keane’s comments then I wouldn’t put to much into it. Before this he was praising us now we are bad Champions. If we performed like this with a full strength squad, then there may have been some validity to his comments. He has neglected to factor in the number of variants this season, one being the ridiculous amount of injuries and to key players at that.

yea I'm with you hailstones. Excuses, reasons, factors, whatever you want to call them, the season hasn't panned out well. But I don't think that means you throw the toys out and start again. We have work to do, well Klopp does but he has earned to right to see the season out (which isn't finished btw) and then go again next year. Support the team best we can this season and push the team on to do the best they can. then we go again.

It's Roy it's what he does. Him and his big wooden spoon laughing his arse off because he got a reaction.

Bad champions is just a phase that Roy Keane used. I wouldn’t take anything he say seriously!

Always remember his career in management if you want a laugh.
The standard of punditry is like the standard of referee's, utterly and completely useless.
They are opinions trying to present themselfs as facts.
Hailstones: superb post, well written and well said.

It seems to be all about getting a headline from their analysis to be honest. I hate sky commentators at the minute.

Neville started it last year when united were struggling, slating his own team, the carra started this year, Keane slates everyone, Alan smith only loves arsenal, not sure Martin Tyler even watches the game 😂.

It's the nature of the beast last season souness was ripping the ass of man united, I guess its payback time for them as united are above us plus everyone was going on we are the Harlem globe trotters blowing smoke up our asses . When in reality too stay at the very top you can't rely on the same group of 11 players for 4 seasons without adding players that are needed for certain positions .

Of course, the idea of reigning champions or defending champions is very much the norm in all sports. But this idea of "good champions" or "bad champions" doesn't make a lot of sense. We were, are and always will be the stunning and sensational champions of the 2019/ 20 season. That is there forever and we were, both in terms of how we played and the margin of victory, one of the best champion teams ever in the 2019/ 20 season. 2020/ 21 is a new season. Of course, we'd like to be champions again, we'd like to hit the same heights as last season and play the same stunning, intense, attacking football, but at the moment, for any one or more of a number of reasons, we're not doing it. Right now, it looks like this will all mean that we won't be champions again next season. But that doesn't make us "bad champions"; it just means we're not as good this season as we were last season and/ or other teams are better than they were last season.

But Wales still won😭😂.

Hailstones, what do you expect from the most bitter pundit on the planet? "Bad Champions". I laughed so hard it was not even funny. It is easy to lecture managers from the comfort of one's cushy seat in a studio whereas he was a complete shambles of a manager who won sweet flipping all, when he had their job and could not bear being held to account for his own arrogance and incompetence.

The guy wouldn't last a week on the job having to deal with all the stuff Klopp has had to deal with yet he trying to lecture a top manager on what he should do or not do. The lack of self awareness is deafening but I guess that is what Sky pays for.

I am not bothered by the comments more pointing out how desperate the media an ex players are too create there own bandwagon too jump on.

Hailstones, it is what the media does, man.
