Can’t remember a season or team to be hit with so many injuries wtf is going on? bar the vvd which nout could prevent! I think maybe 3/ 4 have been lucky to say not to pick one up it’s some mess!
All teams are the same no preseason etc
They all are picking up knocks but we are dropping like flies!
Klopp says naby is training but still alone and jota is close but not as close as naby?

We had one of the best squads in the league, we should have been able to cope a lot better. Too many mistakes and too much winging. Teams with smaller squads have had lots of injuries like Southampton.

Man City lost Silva, aguero hasn’t played, kdb is injured. How would we have coped without Salah all season? Not well IMO. We have had injuries of course but we have made loads of mistakes
Jota was injured in a nothing game.
Gomez was at his limit he should never have gone to England.
Milner was over played so got an injury with Jones sat on the bench.
The lb hasn’t worked out so Robbo is exhausted.
A cab should have been identified as soon as VVD was injured and brought in Jan 1st. We left it to the last minute.
Hendo and Fabs can’t play at cb it’s obvious.
Thiago needs benching as he is not helping atm. He is getting booked first minute of every game. Jones should be in instead.
Yes lots injuries but equally far far too many mistakes.

Leicester has loads of injuries too at the start of I remember correctly.

Yes i have seen Southampton struggle and Sheffield Utd, and Burnley but we are Liverpool, self styled mentally monsters.
Against Man City as an example we could of played the front 3, our best midfield, the 2 full backs and keeper. So we missing our cb’s but we have known this for months. If one cb had been brought in earlier we would of been in much better shape. We are coping just ok, we are scrambling around with West Ham, Everton, Leicester etc. I think it’s time to make smarter decisions and play a stronger midfield. We have to make top 4.

It seems we have lost players for longer periods of time. Now that Mark has brought it up, Klopp has done a minor miracle when you compare to Man City and I think Citys squad quality is winning the day. Liverpool have lost Gomez, Matip, Vvd and Jota for considerable length of time. Not to mention other players too. In the season where the pressure to play game after game with little time for much else, the biggest quality squad is winning, its not surprising to me.

I agree but also disagree that if anyone thinks we are playing well or doing well. We are becoming a laughing stock. Since we won the league, we have been playing rubbish. And now, we have totally lost it.

Yes we have a number of players injured but so have other teams and even those teams would beat us. We have lost that air of invincibility, teams have sussed out, klopp’s tactical nous is being tested and is failing to deliver at the moment.

Something isn’t right in the background as no team can go from being the best in the world to the laughing stock of the league within a matter of months!

Well let’s hope that it doesn’t take another 30 years then to get back playing our best. I think for me it’s more the frustration, playing players out of position when we now have players to play in the position they should be. Look at it this way, we can’t be any worse by playing Kabak and Davies in defence and hendo and Fabinho in midfield! As for Allison, you’d think he would know better after he cost us the game against city! I think we are really going to struggle to get top four at this rate. everton have got 3 games in hand on us and both they and Chelsea could be above us after this weekend.

When VVD got injured we knew we all doubted weather we could win the league with matips fitness issues along with thaigo out then gomez gone for a season fabinho over achieved at the back as its not his position jota injured who was winning us games with his deep runs beyond the defences then trent for a month and lack of form when he got back


We are lucky that we're in a top 4 fight now we got in 2 defenders and end of the month will see jota keita (for a while) and fabinho back hopefully we will see the first choice midfield and front 3 klopp chooses with 2 proper CBs

So stay in the fight for top 4 get wins on the board somehow and see how we can finish the season we would all take top 4 right now if it was offered but we need to dig deep and fight hard for it massive season for finances to strengthen next season


Also the champions league is next a nice distraction hopefully.

You don’t understand the negativity Ed? We could and likely will be out of the top four by the end of the weekend. We’ve been dreadful, controlling passages of play - yes. Rarely look like scoring.
