OP, people do not seem to fully grasp what Klopp and FSG have achieved for this club with our business model, sound recruitment strategies as well as sound management of the playing and coaching staff. Nothing short of legendary, IMO.

You're probably right, Redluke, but it comes down to how good a fit the bench are to be rotated into the first team rather than their individual value.

I don't know enough about the way Pep set's his teams up and the players he has to be able to conclude whether he truly has 2 interchangeable 'First 11s' that can all play in the same way and to the same formation?

Its all Klopp, FSG have restricted Klopp and only developed areas they can make money on IMO, training ground aside, but i'm sure there will be someway of getting money back on that, when hopefully they sell they will no doubt put an extra £25 million on to cover the cost of the ground.

lancaster - Klopp and FSG go hand in hand mate. and you can't just cast aside the investments the ownership have made into the club's infrastructure like it doesn't make difference. But I understand if you do that as it doesn't fit your narrative

FSG were very clear about how they would run things. So I think they have to be given some credit as it is their methods that are part of the big picture for where the club has got to since they came in.

Faith- Sorry for me, any big buyer could of done what FSG have done moneywise, got top club at an excellent price, the best thing they have done is the exposure to deals around the world, we have owner after owner who has under funded what we needed, Rafa had it, Brendan had it and Klopp has had it, i'd bite my right arm off for owners with money to back Klopp, he has done/ made this side do incredible things and now the squad hasn't been backed with quality instead of quantity we are burnt out, Im not getting into the ins and outs as the Eds have answered questions regarding FSG from me before, i have said i feel FSG have done all they can and done well but we need to move onto people with money, i know they are trying too but time is running out before this side gets broken up because FSG can't fund the side or choose to back the Red Sox instead.

maybe you took it the wrong way, I understand your position. But the issue you seem to be having is that you can't accept FSG for who they are. Or perhaps you have settled with that and won't be happy until the sell up. fair enough I suppose.

for me, they were very clear from the very beginning about how they would run the club. And I'm all for it. I don't think they've under-funded Klopp at all.
