If the result stays the same apprently that's 16 defeats in the league in a 12 month period. This decline started happend long before injuries did. This summer will be key to weather we bounce back with fresh faces or carry on and hope what we have can do it again. Im not sure they can. It will be sell to buy and they need to sell big and buy big.

Injuries, no fans have played a massive part in our current form.
I agree even before the injuries we were poor. But I feel our results would have been better with a fully fit squad. Performances still would have been poor imo.
We need 2/ 3 changes in the summer, a CM, CB and a stilted for me.
But to say klopp out, that is utterly ridiculous.

Our only route into the UCL next season is to win it this season. Forget top 4, not happening. 6th or 7th place at best.
Injuries are just not an excuse anymore. Southampton, Leicester have all had injury issues and they are still matching or exceeding expectations. When will Klopp and the players stand up and take responsibility?
Hate to say this but Dortmund's last season with Klopp was not too dissimilar to what we are witnessing now. Does the club itself need a bit of a reset?

You can't count no fans as a reason for the way we are playing. All other teams have no fans, and if our players can only motivate themselves when the fans are present, then they either want to man up, or ship out.

We have been poor since athletico at home. Since then we have become easy to defend agaisnt.

I'm not on the klopp out bandwagon but something really does need changing before we become the team we were under Hodgson never mind Rodgers. Coming to anfield is beginning to look like a guaranteed 3 points. It will take years to make anfield a fortress again.

We can only clutch at straws for the CL this season. If we get knocked out then I'd rather we not even qualify for Europa so we can just focus in league for next season.

Guess he's going to have to play defenders now as hendo is out. We have totally lost the plot, utterly clueless. We have been pretty poor for a long time and now we are getting punished. The difference b4 was that the defence was good. Now it's a shambles. I still completely support klopp, how can you not after what he has done for the club.

I have heard this 'Since Atletico' BS for long. If I remember correctly, we dominated the game against a dogged defensive side and created plenty to win. We hit the bar a couple of times and scuffed our chances. And yet after all this we were leading 2-0 until Adrian's error knocked the stuffing out of us. Even Simeone in his post match press conference said they were lucky to go through. I seriously don't know what we try to achieve by saying since atletico - we have been found out! I have read it many times here (and probably from the same poster) .

Stop with the "Klopp out" nonsense. Nobody's happy with this season's results but stop with the knee jerk reactions. VVD's injury has turned out to be a season defining injury, followed by other injuries, which in turn started a chain reaction domino effect from defense into midfield and even the attack. What would buying Lovren's replacement have done if he had been injured too (or maybe not, nobody knows) . We just live with it.

@barryinlouth, injuries have had an impact but saying that having no fans is also impacting us is just a rubbish excuse. Everyone is in the same boat, and teams like West Ham, city, man ure, Leicester etc seem to be doing fine. So not playing in front of fans is not a valid reason. Don’t get me wrong, the fans are our 12th man but if you think that’s the reason for our slump in form, then our players really are mentally weak!

Firstly klopp out is nonsense but he deserves criticism for me he has created problems by playing fab and hendo at the back when we had defenders on the bench never moved fab back just starts him over a defender (mostly phillips) and the same with Henderson tonight

Playing Ben Davies Phillips or Kabak together with hendo as a 6

It would allow full backs to push up more get gini up the pitch and more leadership in the middle

Hopefully Henderson is back soon along with fab but mostly let's pray to God 2 of the 3 fit center backs we have for a partnership to allow a defensive crisis to only impact the defenders rather then midfield and in turn whole team.
