What has happened to Mane? Christiensen who is by no means the fastest, gave Mane a start and beat him twice in a foot race. Mane is not only struggling for goals but his all round play is poor. We have become very very predictable, hopefully Jota can shake things up.

Fatigue, loss of form etc etc.

Mark noticed that as well mate. Also noticed Chilwell outpaced Mane and Salah at another point as well. Age catches up with everyone but they should be a few years off losing their pace at the age of 28.

{Ed077's Note - or Chilwell could be almost as fast as them? Or Chilwell had some sort of a headstart?}

Ed077 all very true mate but from what I remember I can’t recall chilwell having a head start over both (but I could be wrong) . I also can’t remember when both Salah and Mane have glided past players with their pace this season. Last few seasons their pace has absolutely killed teams week in week out.

{Ed077's Note - I dont know exactly what moments you guys are discussing; my point is a player doesnt have to be faster than another to keep up in a foot race.

Possible. Or maybe it’s desire and effort? If a mid table championship team for example played against Brighton or Chelsea at home, I’d expect Millwall Blackburn etc to have more than one shot on target.
We’re the Premier League champions, but playing at 50% effort.

Who knows what effect C.V. had on him.
First week in living memory when I don't have a Red in my fantasy team : (.

I read somewhere today that Dortmunds owner regretted letting Klopp go when he did, he wishes that he had got rid of all the players and replaced them with Klopps choices saying that Klopp can always improve players, but players rarely improve a manager.

Good post Lang.

Or C.V. impacts lung capacity and ability for the body to perform, the recovery times for proper function are very high. He is an elite athlete his body needs to be performing at the highest, even with people showing minimal symptoms lung capacities have been massively impacted, which for a player whose strength is pace and stamina means a lot! Not saying he solely relies on pace.

Recovery times are higher if body is not getting proper amount of oxygen, with fixture congestion that could be a reason for his lack of performance, we as by standers just don’t know.

unless you're Pep and you can buy literally anyone you want. not sour grapes, actually pretty smart on his part. not that he is a bad manager, but does he improve players? I don't know. he must be pretty good though to keep the egos in check and accept their roles.

That's why FSG will not let go of Klopp. If there was discontent brewing between him and FSG, there would have been hints of it. Klopp understands the financial constraints brought about by the cv, heck he has lived with constraints most of his career. Just up to Klopp to sort out each piece of the puzzle, one piece at a time. He's done it before. He'll do it again.

Waqas Liverpool will be using the best medical facilities and tests money can buy. If any of the players are showing discrepancies in lung function, cardio vascular system or central nervous system they will not be on that pitch in the first place.
