Agreed, wasn't a klopp signing. Davies was a board signing to appease the fans, so the owners/ board could say they were taking the defence seriously, hoping he might play enough to sell him at say 5million.

How can you deduce that from what Klopp said? He said similar things about Robertson and Fabinho when he made them learn his system and adjust to what was expected of them at LFC. Even if it took 6 months. Simply too soon to write Davies off.

I don't understand how some of you guys think Davies will be going in the Summer going by what Klopp has said. I would also be incredibly disappointed if the club shipped a player out after only a few months. Surely they would be better than that?

Let’s clear up a few things here:

The OP is implying that comments Kloop made about Davies suggests Davies is leaving in the summer NOT Klopp is leaving in the summer!

I disagree with that interpretation.

Klopp merely said that we haven’t seen Davies yet as he will take time to get used to the way we play, like Robbo did.

Samikewell, as to why that applies to Davies and not Kabak - Kabak is on loan to us, not our player. Davies has signed a contract (3-5 years I guess) so we can take our time.

There is nowhere in Klopp’s comments where one can deduce that Davies (who signed a multi year deal) was either a board singing (absolute rubbish cos Klopp doesn’t operate that way) nor that Davies is leaving in the summer except maybe for people trying to make 2 and 2 equal 7.

FTR, the sake thing was done with Fab cos at the time he was not playing, some person put out a fake story that Klopp had had enuff of him as he was not settling and was linked with a move to PSG in the Jan window.

People lost their marbles then and clearly, it does not take much to get these same people triggered into believing the overtly absurd.
