As we are currently having one of our worst seasons under Jurgen it is hard to believe that we are still in the race for CL football even if we don't win the CL this year.
With Spurs, Chelsea, Everton and the Hammers slipping up this weekend we are right back in the mix.
As Jurgen has pointed towards Fabinho being back in midfield there is no reason why we can't go on a bit of a run until the end of the season and secure one of the top four places.

Or is it just that, bar City and us (normally), the rest of the league are $hi&e?

If a team can average 2 points per game they’ll usually qualify for the top 4.
City are away, but Leicester and Man Utd are almost at that figure.
I think that the top 3 places are boxed off and Chelsea are not dropping many points under Tuchel so far.
Top 4 for Liverpool is a big ask, I think it’s gone unfortunately.

We need to win at least 9 of the games left and right now that does not look possible. No point in looking at other teams results, if we can't win our own games.

We need to "win out" (win all our remaining games) to have any chance at top 4 so to me right now, we are very well on the outside looking in, unfortunately. The best we can do/ hope for is that we try to win every game and finish the season as strongly as we can in the PL. CL? Tough ask BUT you never know.

The chance is still there, but I think it’s very much against us now. We need to leapfrog several teams, not just one, the chances of several teams all losing form and points and us getting back to winning ways is quite remote.

chelsea have dropped 6 points out of 15 last 5 matches. that is plenty enough if we are on our game. IF we are on our game.

I believe we can do it but it may very well have to be a case of winning 10 games in a row. Let’s just see how we do in the next few games before getting out hopes up.

I’d fancy Leicester and Chelsea to drop points between now and the end of the season. If we can keep Fabinho fit and in centre midfield then we can put a run together. So top four us still doable,

Listen anything in life is possible you just have to believe I think the only thing in life not possible is for Jose to except defeat gracefully and with dignity just heard him on an interview there on sky stating it wasnt a penalty yesterday but there was contact after the ball had been played as it was in play at the time he was wrong again comments please?

He may have said lucky but never said it wasnt listen anywhere else on the field of play with the ball still in play it's a foul so there should be no issues on that regards I totally agree 100% with Michael Oliver on that point alone.

Although I agree that Man City are gone. We all know how quickly winning consistently can turn to losing consistently. I do not think that the current top 4 will be the final top 4.

Ed77, I did not think that was a penalty either. It was an incidental collision btw both players esp since Lacazette fluffed his lines even before Sanchez got to him.

It was the same thing with Calvert-Lewin and TAA in the Anfield derby. TAA was sitting on the ground after a tackle, he trips over TAA while he is on the ground and gets a pen. Poor officiating.
