Mane, salah and Bobby all over 30 by the end of next season, start of following. Their value will fall. Two will be off to play in afcon. So would selling be the bast option now?
Who would sell all 3, and origi and shaq and Wilson and replace with Grealish, harland and Sancho? With jotta, minamino and the ox who could play those 3 front positions. All fantasy but would help homegrown quota as well as dropping ages and avoiding the afcon problem.?

Salah looks after his body to Ronaldo/ Milner levels. He'll be playing at the highest level well in into his mid-30's. If he wants it, he could leave our club as the all time top scorer in Europe, and in the Premier League era.

I'm less confident about Mane and Bobby's ability to play into their mid 30's. Over the next 2 years it would be wise to phase them out in my opinion. Shouldn't be looking to move on 2 or 3 at the same time though. That's just FIFA nonsense.

Mane appears to have lost a yard of pace and his game relies on his explosiveness and unpredictability. If a good offer comes in, i think this summer is the right time to sell.

Bobby looks finished. Mane has been terrible this season but it’s been way longer for Firmino. It Might be time to cash in as you say.

Mane been below his usual standard this season but I don’t think he’s been terrible every game. He’s actually played well in some. The problem with Mane and Salah is they’ve both set such high standards over the last few seasons it’s easy to write them off when they drop below. For me Bobby produces magical moments once in a blue moon and it papers over the cracks of his performances. His set up for the Salah goal was world class but then you don’t see anything else from him for 5-6 games before another moment of magic happens.

I suppose it’s a case of let’s see if an offer comes in or not, then we can consider it whilst seeing if we can get a suitable replacement.
I think it’s Klopps next big test, to see how he deals with the front 3 and finding their replacements.

Very much so Mikey. It’s a difficult one, We probably can’t get a player to replace Salah’s goals, Firmino won’t bring in anywhere near enough money, so it really only leaves the option selling Mane and that option doesn’t appeal to me at all. That’s why Klopp is the manager he needs to figure it out.

I can see Bobby evolve into a classy midfielder, his passing is great, he can make space for himself, he can do the press, great vision and he score headers from corners. If I go with my brain and not my heart I would seriously consider anything over 75m for Mane.

KingCarlos, Firmino started his career as a defensive midfielder so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that he could move back.

Spot on, KingCarlos regarding Bobbie. He is a world class talent with world class ability, proven in Europe and in the PL over time. That much we know. Can't knock him for that. Of course, he is struggling for form, goals and accumulated fatigue from a marathon schedule over the past 3 years or so (and so is the team) BUT I feel he still has a lot left in the tank asp with Jota coming in and helping to carry the load. IMO, A good preseason and a good rest over the summer will definitely do him a world of good, IMO. Same goes for Mane and Hendo.

There’s no doubting Bobby’s ability and what he has done for the club. I think the only difference is between the players who haven’t been at their best this season ie Bobby, Mane and Trent is. Trent and Mane for me still start in our strongest 11. For me though Bobby doesn’t. He is now behind Jota when it comes to the starting 11. But I don’t pick the side. Will be interesting to see what Klopp does as Bobby is a big favourite of his.

JK23, I disagree. You may think that Bobbie does not start or that Jota is ahead of him and that is fine. My retort here, is that if anyone should be dropped right now it should be Mane cos he has been out of sorts near all season. I think since Bobbie has had a rest now for 3 weeks (more rest than he has had in months, I bet), his ability in his role, is perfect for Jota to thrive under.

I remember when we played Leicester at Anfield and he and Jota started and how well both players played. Bobbie was tricking, flicking and on his game and Jota benefitted from his performance cos there were spaces for Jota to operate in. I just think if Bobbie can come back fresher and healthy as he is now, he can still do damage with Jota alongside him. I do not see it as an either/ or situation. You cannot have too many great players in your team.

There is always room for great players in your team. Yet you would take Mane out. So basically contradicted yourself again. Like I said Mane has been below par for a lot of the season. But Bobby been below par for about 2 years. Both players have played 37 games this season. Mane has 12 goals 6 assists and Bobby 6 goals 7 assists. But yeah Mane been way more off form. But Bobby has created more space.

was going to post same thing mk. Easily 5 more seasons from Salah after this. Great news is no one will give us the money we want for him and I believe he loves the game and winning way too much.
