Great performance from the reds last night. A question for you all if Hendo gets his fitness back within the next month who drops out it definitely won't be Fab.

It’s a great problem to have. If we want to get top 4 and try and win the CL we aren’t going to be able to play the same starting 11 for the 13 games. The better the squad the better chance we have.

Yep we will need the squad but in the bigger games Hendo would always play.

Agreed JK. Its about looking to the bench and knowing you have players to see a game out, change a game or even just be of equal quality as the player being replaced.
If Henderson gets fit then we will have 2 experienced midfielders and one very good youngster ready to go.
You only have to see how Jota changed the game yesterday when he came on.
Henderson is the only player we can get back before the end of the season, so it's as good as it gets.
Except for City, there are no outstanding teams in the CL, so we have a squeak but that's about it.

Even if he is in the squad I wouldn’t start him. if we get there with Kabak and Phillips they start for me.

The euros start 14 days after the CL final. Not sure if countries will be playing friendlies before hand as well. I’m not expecting or wanting Vvd to play this season but I also think he will be announced in the Dutch squad which is going to prove very testing on what Vvd decides to do. Massive risk for Vvd to go to the euros having not played for 8-9 months but no doubt it’s a dream to represent his country in it. Hopefully he doesn’t get included in the squad and it takes all the decisions and risk away from him.

No one on here knows if he plays again this season. no one! but i'll say this if we get to the final and VVD is fit to play i will be absolutely amazed if he's not in the starting line up. A 60% fit Virg is still the best on the planet.
