As summer transfer rumours for all the big clubs are beginning to circulate, what would everyones dream summer look like?

For me, we only really need 3 players, those being a centre back, a midfielder and a forward, in addition to whichever of Kabak or Phillips we decide to retain.

For me, perfection would look like Konate, Bissouma and Haaland/ Mbappe, and fortunately two of those do look very plausible. Mbappe and Haaland seem to be priced out of a move to just about any club at the moment, and i haven’t a clue who it makes sense to move for instead. Aside from those two, there are no obvious candidates. Perhaps someone like Neto, Saka or Sancho, but honestly who knows. Will be very interesting to see who Michael Edwards pulls out of his magic hat.

I'd take Konate and Neto as our signings this summer. Maybe Kabak as well if he continues his upward trajectory.
How much money will we have leftover after that though? Our fringe/ loaned out players won't fetch much and will only cover the cost of Konate and Kabak at best. Can't see a midfielder being signed unless one of the front 3 was also to leave.

Konate, bissouma and daka for me. Daka looks lethal and if we can pick him up for around 30 million it would be a steal. Grealish would also be a consideration but would be silly money. I'd definitely make daka a priority though, above all else.

For me the best transfers are those that aren't expected. Not the big names that every club is following, but the ones that are just as good, who are not noticed as they don't play for the big clubs. I belive klopp and Edwards value such prospects.

Find them before they are superstars and make them superstars without need to break the bank.

We will definitely need a lb Robbo can’t go on like this. Robbo was our best player up until Christmas but he has been flogged like a dead horse.

I’d b very weary about a player like Daka who is killing it in the Austrian League cos we saw how Mino struggled with us. Even the Haaland that people are drooling over had to go to the German Bundesliga to hone his skills and even then there are question marks cos the German League is not known for its defensive nous and physicality in comparison to the physical punishment the PL can dish out. Just ask Timo Werner.

As for our transfer business, if Konate comes in then we are sorted at CB with either Phillips or Kabak or both being kept which means Matip is moved on and so is orplly Davies. We just need a midfielder or two and another forward. Will Elliot and Mini be integrated? We shall see. Either way, there will be no revolution, IMO. It is not needed.

German league is not known for its defensive nous.
Next sentence if we sign Konate from the same German league we are sorted 🤣.

I suppose firstly in terms of outgoings (and this is a really unrealistic number of players of course) Matip, wilson, ojo, van den berg, shaqiri, origi, grujic, adrian

Then you could even say as possibles ox and keita, due to their injury records, however with gini going we are already losing a great cm, and also its would depend on getting a good transfer fee for each of them. Keita 30+ million and ox 20+. I imagine they are on good wages too so that wouldn't hurt. However I think add something different and would like to see them stay in rotation, which will hopefully keep them fit. Also Tsmikas, just because it seems like klopp doesn't fancy him, although again I think we should just keep him.

Unless we were to sign saka who would be one of my go to signings. Can cover multiple positions, young English talent.

Give Phillips a new contract, certainly good enough as a back up option

Sign kabak? Still unsure as 20 million is a decent sum, however if he keeps up his form from the last couple of games then I would say yes, only 20

Then another centre will need to be signed, konate seems versatille, but is he not injury prone? Or was it just one bug injury, however I would say he is a really good option those things depending. I would look at Sheffield United as well maybe, we have done well from relegated sides and their centre backs aren't scared of playing with the ball. Sven botman maybe, although he does seem to lack the mobility klopp is looking for

A striker, malen from psv would be an interesting signing. Then possibly depay on a "free"as a secondary "cheaper" option

CM, I agree on bissouma, he look class. A left field option glen kamara from rangers, whenever I've seen him play he's looked decent, especially at breaking up play and travels with the ball. Ndombele would also be a great player, but again not at all likely. But i suppose these are make believe options

Elliot to replace shaqiri in the squad

Then some of the names above from others would be great of course. Neto ect and I don't think anyone would be disappointed if any of those joined the squad

Those are my options I suppose, I don't have a great knowledge of all over Europe to be honest so I think there will be many better options to be fair.

I'd like Kabak, another CB like Konate and tbh I'd take Saka, can cover lw, rw and lb, ticks so many boxes, but is a player I think is a bit special and will do well.

Surely of Nats and kabak keep performing well we need to sell matip to sign a cb? Assuming we sign kabak who is looking like a steal at 18m.
