I’ve got a bad feeling about the Hendo injury. Remember when we thought Thiago was returning every week for about 12 weeks. From what I’ve seen online it’s very much touch and go whether he makes the euros. Hendo is a big favourite of southgates so the only risk he has of not going is if he’s still injured.

Liability. Misses too many important games at the crunch end of the season. It’s not a one off he’s done it more or less every season.

Anonymous Woolback - yea it's crazy to point at any one player really. I do think that in this type of season where we've had a bit of a bad run of injuries and form, we are seeing who the key people are that make our team mentality monsters.
We all know this as we have played in a team or even not sport related, where you have people in your group who are the drivers. their personalities can lift others. That's been a big miss for us this season and we are seeing where the lack of leadership is.

Thers not much point blaming injuries last night. We were awful klopp got the changes wrong. In my opinion Mane should be dropped. Firminonfinally put in a decent performance against Arsenal then he drops him. Mane for 1 reason or other has been way below standards this season and coukdve done with the rest. Why Keita started is beyond me with so little game time under his belt and again after Thiago putting in one of his best performances against Arsenal. Gini I understand coming in for Milner but his first half display was disgraceful and shouldn't be offered the armband again. Vinicius pace and movement caused us problems all night and Phillip's in particular struggled with him. But for all the players we were missing thanks a relatively poor Madrid team also missing Ramos, Varane, Hazard.

Spot on, Thunderbird 2. The worst is that what LiverpoolFC8 said about Hendo is patently false. Hendo has finished 2 of the last 3 seasons and those back end games include 2 CL finals and a 97 point PL season BUT don't let facts get in the way of a baseless attack of our devoted, fearless captain and legend. Absolutely dreadful comment, SMH.
