Hi Eds and reds hope all is well. Question that's been floating around my head the last couple of days and may be as simple as a rule change - what happened to booking people for diving? With VAR now its easier than ever to decide dive or foul, but the yellow cards seem to have vanished? Am I missing something?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea and have often wondered that myself.}

not missing anything mate. these officials operate with half logic, so that is why we are left with so many unanswered questions.

Same with kicking the ball away.

Can you use VAR for yellow card offences tho?

VAR cannot give yellow cards. It is not within their jurisdiction.

Penalties, offsides, red cards, and mistaken identity I think are the only areas VAR can support on.

VAR is a tool available to the ref to use when required. The ref does not rely on it cos they are actually too busy officiating the game itself and same goes for linesmen. This is how it is implemented everywhere else in Europe.

I the PL, VAR is an active part of officiating where the ref and linesmen don’t actually have to officiate the game fully cos they are relying on the VAR to do these parts for them. And also, cover for their stupid mistakes.
