I cannot believe our owners are a part of these talks. I cannot believe Liverpool Football Club, with the motto of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' are prepared to turn their backs on the fans in the pursuit of money. It is disgusting.

I used to be a supporter of John W Henry, of FSG, and ignored the calls from fans that they were not supportive of the club and were only in charge of the club to have another source of income. These actions alone proves they were right and I have been willingly ignorant of the character of our owners.

This was the worst time to announce too. When Liverpool are pushing for top 4, looking likely to miss it. Now, we have painted a huge bullseye on our back. We want to take money away from less fortunate clubs, those clubs are going to up their performances now to stick it to us.

This is a disgusting situation. However, the audacity of Sky and BT to call out greed of others when they were charging 14.95, in the midst of a C.V., is hypocrisy at its finest. Where was your burning passion to support the fans then!?!?

No one comes out a winner in this. The beautiful game lost its beauty a long time ago but this act is driven by nothing but greed.

{Ed002's Note - You seem to have quickly forgotten that they owners of Liverpool and Manchester United conspired only last year on Project Big Foot.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Certainly not forgotten.

I had only hoped that the reaction back then would have shelved any plans for a breakaway. They clearly are not listening to the fans anymore. The reaction had been nothing but negative back then and, what would you know, the exact same reaction now.

{Ed002's Note - The Liverpool owners will keep seeking more money, more money, more mon ....}

Football was lost a long time ago when it was acceptable to pay 100 million for one person and pay contracts to people with earnings of £31quid a minute.

I can't afford to attend premier league games regularly with my kids im working class with 2 jobs, so to listen to tory bells spout about fans sport when cost of living is more than wages, and neville cry when Salford threw money left right and centre to get league football. I find it all nonsense its to far gone for it not to be acceptable.

Personally feel everyone of these posts is reading utter bull. we would love to have city's money and buy haaland and mbappe.

We the fans are greedy, owners are greedy, players are greedy and the world we live in is about a new iPhone or ps5. Everyone is out for themselves and about lining there own pockets, don't see how this is any different, to compete at top level requires billions.

Personally, wage caps spending caps free places for kids to watch football. its elite anyway teams who have good year loose players following year anyway.
